1.0 out of 5 stars Book quality was disappointing, 15 May 2011
Though there are lovely patterns in this book, the presentation of the book is astonishingly poor. All the projects are pictured in a section at the beginning of the book. Each item has just one picture - with no additional close-ups or different views of the items. There are no pictures with the instructions at all - and the instructions are not in the same order as the pictures. This makes it really difficult when browsing the projects to see what projects would work with the length of skein you have got.

This book is also "perfect bound". This means that individual cut pages are glued into the spine. This type of binding is fine for a cheap paperback novel that you might read a couple of times then throw away - it is not suitable for a book that should be kept for many years. In fact, the binding is so bad that after looking at this book just a few times the photo pages at the start are already falling out!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant carrier, 10 Dec 2010
The Ergo baby carrier is excellent. I first bought mine when my son was 12 months old - he thoroughly enjoyed being carried everywhere. I continued using it until he was about 2 1/2. I'm now using it for my second child. I've been using it since she was about 6 months old. It's well made, very easy to adjust and comfortable. Babies and chidren can be put on the back quickly - without anyone to help - though this does take a little practice. If you don't want to use a pushchair - then I recommend getting a shopping trolley to carry round all the other gear you need on a trip out.

1.0 out of 5 stars Review of kindle version, 2 Nov 2010
The book is fairly typical Dick Francis. However, my enjoyment of this (kindle) version was spoilt by the large number of typographical errors. For example "VC hat ..." instead of "What ..." and "arid" instead of "and", "rems" instead of "reins".

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent, 8 July 2009
Very good product. Easy to install the hard drive (it took longer to get it out of my old PC than to get it into the new enclosure). It's a snug fit, but some patient wriggling will get it into place. As for the mystery screws: turn the case over and remove the bottom, there you'll find four holes that line up with the base mounting holes in the drive. There were no instructions, but who needs them? Connected to my PC first time (running XP).
