5.0 out of 5 stars Good Slim TPU Case, 31 Mar 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
At just less than 1.5mm thick, this case is not too obtrusive, easy to get on and off.
Had it for a few months now. It's survived one accidental drop onto concrete, and protected the phone very well. Landed on the corner.
If you don't mind the small extra bulk, it's a really good case.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Mount for Nexus 5, 31 Mar 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Fits really well.
Of course you can't have a case on when using this, so I have to remove my case, but once in is very secure.
Just check your car can take the vent fitting mount like this. Mine's fine, but not all are.
Supplier's Good also. Good price, and Delivered within a few days.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good cover., 28 Jan 2012
This Silicone case is a good fit.
Not too bulky on the phone, and easy to take on and off which is good as I only use it when out running/ cycling.
Had to remove some burrs on it at 1st hence the 4 stars, but for the price very good.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very well put together DAB and Internet radio, 14 May 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very impressed with the sound quality of this pure one flow radio. Build quality and feel of the radio as a whole is also very good with a nice understated simple design.

DAB radio reception is excellent, and the radio in general is very easy to use. Controls are simple, but effective. The menus are easy to navigate. Got connected to BT Homehub via wifi quickly, and registered with the Lounge website fine. Not registered for the flow account just yet. For reference, the firmware version is 1.2 which has some improvements over the initial version.

Navigating the many podcasts and internet radio stations is certainly do-able on the radio, but with so many stations available it's much easier via the pure Lounge website, and the radio then picks up the favourites immediately you've then set, so you can set up folders in favourites for each person in the family for example and have quick access to each of their podcasts / internet stations instantly. You can pause and fast forward / rewind through podcasts also which I've found useful. The only negative on podcasts is that the radio doesn't remember the position you were at when you come back to a podcast. That would be a good addition to see in the future.

Connection to media streaming from my PC was really very easy, and when restarting a media stream it does start from where you left off which is great. Navigation is just like navigating any DNLA server, so the usual options of navigation by album, album artists, etc are there. Really is very good, and surprisingly quick for such a device.

Would be nice to see the battery included as that will make this a truely great radio. Pure Lounge website is very good, and very well put together, paricularly the new site. For the price just now this really is a very good radio.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Case for Small Compact Cameras, 12 Feb 2011
Bought this to go with my Son's Panasonic ZX-550. I wanted something casual, and not too bulky to protect the camera as it's a touch screen. The zips are coated to avoid scratching any kit.
It's a really good fit, but be wary of the quoted dimensions. Quoted internals are 6.2 x 10 x 3 cm . Anything that size would be a pretty tight fit I would think, particularly 3cm or more thick.
The FX550 is 5.7 x 9.5 x 2.2cm and it fits snugly. Glad I went for this rather than the PP55 case which probably would have been too tight a fit.

5.0 out of 5 stars A superb TV., 11 Dec 2010
quite a while deciding which TV to get, and this really is superb. It was a choice between Sony 37EX504, and this one.
What made the decision was the quality of the LCD panel in the Pansaonic. Fantastic viewing angle which stood out vs many of the other TVs. Like a couple of other reviewers, we had a great Sony CRT Tv and up to now hadn't seen an LCD replacement that could beat the picture quality.

HD freeview is really great. SD Freeview is good also.
The panel and ability to customise picture really make this. Out of the box on HD the setup is for some of the most natural colours I've seen on a TV. Really very good.

Also have it hooked up to a BT Vision box. In that case I had to change the gamma setting to 2.0 as opposed to the standard 2.2 as the blacks were a bit saturated otherwise. That turns out to be the vision box rather than the TV. The fact that you can tweak all the settings per input is very handy.

Hooked up via DNLA via ethernet for viewing pictures over home network which again is a real bonus. Connecting computer via HDMI also looks fantastic. Vierra cast is OK, but hasn't got the Iplayer and Lovefilm headline acts of the Sony offering, but that didn't bother me. Can always get that with the Sony Blu Ray player anyway if we need to.

Not used the hard disk recording capability as yet.The menus are simple, and remote is easy to use.

Overall very pleased indeed, and a great upgrade from a Sony 29" CRT which had served us very well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quite simply Brilliant, 12 Jan 2006
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Received my nano plus a few days now, and I have to say I'm very impressed. I borrowed a MuvoTX from my brother before I bought this and was impressed with the sound quality, and this nano is excellent. Simple menus, folder structure, and std USB2 readable for bulk storage is good. Battery life seems to be excellent as well.
I took the foam off the large headphones and they fit a treat.
Radio quality is good, but not excellent .. not as good as my Sony radio for example, but then I didn't expect it to be.
Only slight negative I thought was that it doesn't have a sleep mode... but actually it kind of does. It does have an idle mode and a "play one track once" mode, so you can switch these two modes on and once you're aleep you won't be moving onto the next track with the rocker and hey presto the nano switches off a couple of minutes later.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really a 9600 Card: Overclocks very nicely, 12 Dec 2005
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is really an underclocked 9600 part, and with the fan on board it overclocks nicely without modification. Default speed is 250Mhz core. The one I bought overclocks quite nicely to 450MHz core (a staggering 80% Higher) and 220MHz memory (10% up) without getting too hot. You can overclock with the ATI supplied utility that comes with it or ATI-Tool which got me up to 483MHz in total, but I don't run it there all the time.
Anyway that puts the card I have in around the 9600 Pro range which considering the price is pretty good.
