Frightening in its realistic setting, 17 May 2009
I was intrigued by the tag line 'Sometimes bad things happen to good people' Possibly cliche but it caught my attention. The realistic premise as well, I like a horror with an element of 'It could ACTUALLY happen'.
Two girls and two guys climb into a late night shuttle at the airport, a pretty normal and harmless thing to do right? Not, next time I ever get a taxi or shuttle...Hang on I probably wont ever again.
The film is good, suspenseful, lots of moments to shout at the characters for passing up multiple chances to escape and making a pigs ear of it when they take the chances.
The ending is a very suprising one, where lots of things click into place. Its not the 'Were taking you to be eaten by monsters' Ending I've come to expect or the 'Wolf Creek' Style 'We catch girls and torture them' Its much more frightening.
