4.0 out of 5 stars Theory of drug administration and much more., 1 Feb 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
For a few quid this is a very handy reference book for student nurses covering an essential area of practice. It is easy to read and small enough to carry around.
It has some fun question and answer tests, which help to make it entertaining as well as informative.
It certainly won't do any harm, but should do a lot of good in the management of medicines arena.

Well this product has all the bells and whistles the ordinary punter needs to stay safe online at a fair price if you buy it annually, rather than renew your subscription online. Naughty, naughty. It was easy to install and is running smoothly. No problems. It is essential security for one's computer as there are so many bad people out there trying to ruin our equipment and steal from us.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!, 31 Dec 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I am an atheist and a humanist and this book slates both! It is great to have one's beliefs challenged. His basic thesis is that animals are content just to breathe, eat and defecate, whereas humans have to cause horrendous suffering by thinking too much, and hoping for an impossible utopia gained by 'progress.' The war in Syria would sum up his message, as all traits of human civilisation have broken down. The Geneva Convention is a joke in Syria. Snipers are shooting children and pregnant women. What can suicide bombers achieve but death and destruction? Their Paradise full of virgins is a myth. As the scope of the book is infinite, it hops about like a drunken pessimistic kangaroo from one opinion to another, but is thought provoking all the same. I found it very stimulating.

Alpen Light Chocolate and Orange Cereal Bars 19 g (Pack of 5)

2.0 out of 5 stars Small snack., 31 Dec 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Not as naughty as most snacks and so would be better for children than the normal rubbish. There is a faint taste of choc and orange. I have to eat two at a time. Better than crisps or a big choc bar. Quite nice but also quite insubstantial for the price.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too sweet., 31 Dec 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
If this is porridge then my name is Freddie Flintstone. I prefer Tesco organic porridge which has 1% sugar, 6% fat, 12.1% protein and is 100% oats. This is better than many breakfast cereals which have 33% sugar, but sugary breakfast cereals are not great. The taste of proper porridge is much superior. Starting a child on this would be better than cornflakes or Coco Pops, but what wouldn't be? It is too processed and tastes like it. What is wheat doing in it?

There Was a Country: A Personal History of Biafra
There Was a Country: A Personal History of Biafra
by Chinua Achebe
Edition: Hardcover

5.0 out of 5 stars Objective history., 15 Dec 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Chinua Achebe the great writer, has described in an objective manner the attempted genocide of the Igbo tribe/race in Eastern Nigeria by the government troops. There were many atrocities, leading to famine. All is not fair in love and war. Well, love perhaps, but not war. The poetry is excellent and these memoirs/history lesson are well worth reading.

A Passionate Love Affair with a Total Stranger

by Lucy Robinson
Edition: Paperback
Price: 5.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Good fun., 15 Dec 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Lucy Robinson has written a fairly predictable piece of chick lit, which is well worth reading all the same for the great family characters and wacky humour. Charlotte wants the perfect life, but is thwarted at every turn until she gets her partner.
You will not regret reading it, as it is very entertaining.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely book., 11 Dec 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
A hard back, which reassures that electronic readers will never replace proper books.
The problem with this collection of authors is that it mentions loads of wonderful books to read.
Interesting photos, one page of info, and it is the sort of reference book that you would enjoy dipping in and out of for years, A nice gift for someone interested in great writers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 9 Dec 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
An hour and a half of great detective fiction, with a full cast dramatization by the excellent BBC. What more could one want?
It is gripping from the start and doesn't waver until the exciting denouement. Great for the car, or resting at home. This whole series seems of high quality writing and acting, as I have listened to most of them. Very enjoyable way to relax.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good debut story from P.D.JAMES., 7 Dec 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Yes, this was her first mystery novel and mighty fine it is too. It is more of a classic whodunnit than later novels, following in the style of Agatha Christie, and there is nothing wrong with that. It dates from 1962, so is a bit dated, but if it is from that time, that's okay. Sally Jupp, an unmarried mother-O.M.G.!-is engaged and then murdered in a quiet English village.
Will DCI Adam Dalgliesh be able to solve the mystery?
Anyone who enjoys detective stories will relish this complete and unabridged tale, and it is very well read by Roy Marsden.
