5.0 out of 5 stars A must-have for all who respect Ras Tafari., 30 July 2012
This film contains the best colour footage of HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY HAILE I SELASSIE I that I have seen. Attending a special commemoration of the removal of the Fascist invaders. Wonderful scenes where he is cheered through crowds of jubilant Ethiopians. There are many Ethiopian war veterans to be seen, proud noble warriors. These are wonderful scenes of Ethiopia as she was, before the tragic events which later befell her. I have treasured and preserved my VHS tape for many years, and I hope that one day I will be able to get it on DVD.

Dreadlocks In The Moonlight
Dreadlocks In The Moonlight

5.0 out of 5 stars Title mistake., 10 Jan. 2012
This is a great song, and if you listen closely to the riddim you can hear where the famous Sleng-Teng riddim came from. There's quite a few good versions, vocals and dubs, of this that were done at Black Ark. BUT the title of this song is not 'Dreadlocks in THE moonlight'....... The correct title is 'Dreadlocks in moonlight'

5.0 out of 5 stars A well written and informative book., 3 May 2011
This is a very educational book, it should be compulsory reading for all those who have been influenced by the anti-cannabis propaganda prevalent in the mass media. I bought this book to donate to my public library and would urge others to do the same. If you are in two minds about this buy the book, read it and then you will know the truth. If you yourself are aware of the benefits of cannabis but know someone who still hasn't faced up to the truth, buy them this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful., 8 Nov. 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I had not seen this since first transmission and I can say it lived up to all my fond memories. Foremost of course is the opportunity to see wonderful Wendy Padbury in her prime years and in full colour, whereas in Doctor Who she was only in B&W adventures (barring The 5 Doctors). The other Doctor Who actor featured here is Kevin Stoney, so it must have been a bit of a re-union for him to be working with Wendy again. The adventure is really two stories in one with quite a strong connection between the two. Lots of chasing about in fast vehicles, both on land and water, mysteries to solve and that great 70's atmosphere, it's great.
Pretty good video quality but there were drop-outs occasionally which would never have been allowed through without correction on a Doctor Who release. There are no subtitles or extras on either of the two discs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great to see this., 8 Nov. 2009

The series is presented here in it's entirety on one disc. There are no extras.
I first saw this series on first transmission in the early 1970s and it was wonderful to see this again after all these years. It is just as baffling as I remember it however, one of those "mysterious" programmes where you are never sure quite what is going on.
The video quality is quite watchable but not as good as it could be. I appreciate that it has been done from old archive tapes, and in sections from domestic V.H.S. but if the re-mastering task had been given to the Doctor Who Restoration Team it would have ended up looking much better than it does.

5.0 out of 5 stars Important information episode list., 15 Sept. 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Invasion of the Bane--- disc one is EXACTLY the same as the single episode release.
Revenge of the Slitheen
Eye of the Gorgon
Warriors of Kudlak
Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane??
The Lost Boy

From the above you will note that there is no need to purchase the single episode release of Invasion of the Bane as you won't get any extra special features or anything. It annoys me that Amazon do not put up proper details of D.V.D.s so one is often buying blind. I got caught out and bought the single release and wasted my money. I have posted these details so that others do not get caught out.
