I've had car electric pumps before which have failed to impress. This device bucks the trend. Great performance, Blew up a three man boat in minutes and definitely exceeded my expectations.

4.0 out of 5 stars A return to form, 18 Oct 2013

Another great album from the Prog Metal kings. Hints of 6DOIT and some wonderful orchestration. This album wasn't an instant hit, but has grown with each listen. Can't wait to see them perform this material live.

5.0 out of 5 stars 2013 Album of the Year?, 17 Feb 2013
Others have written eloquently about this album, so I will keep this short. I was eagerly anticipating this album and it hasn't dissappointed. The single "Celebrity Touch" is an instant like, but I found the more I listened to this album the more it grew on me with some killer hooks buried in the soundscape these excellent musicians produce. At the start of 2013 it has clearly set the standard for Album of the Year. A must buy for anyone with an interest in intelligently written progressive music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprise album of 2012, 8 Jan 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Having read a review of this album, i thought I'd give it a try. Not surprisingly the production on the album is excellent. The songs are easy to get into, and will grow on you. Buy the 2CD version, the extra material is definitely worth having with a surprise ghost track at the end. With Lol Creme contributing there wer hints of the brilliance that were 10cc in their prime and Trevor Horn should need no introduction (but his bass playing may be a pleasant surprise to some). I really like this albumm; hope you will to!

4.0 out of 5 stars Upcoming Prog Band, 8 Jan 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
If you have District 97's first album, you'll know what to expect. For those new to the band, they are a breath of fresh air in the progressive rock world. This album is a development, with writing credit now spread across all band members. It's not an easy first listen (as with a lot of music of this genre) but you like music from Yes and King Crimson this should appeal to you. As young talent, this band needs to be supported as it grows to become the finished article.

5.0 out of 5 stars Top performing headphones, 15 Nov 2011

This review is from: Audio Technica A500 (Electronics)
I've used Sennheiser headphones for many years, but got tempted by reviews of the Audio-Technica ATH-A500. Having now got a pair of the headphones in my posession I can fully endorse the quality and sound of these (budget) headphones. The first thing you notice is the striking appearance (my kids think I look like a cyberman), but the closed cup design makes for very easy and comfortable wearing. In fact I wore for several hours and really didn't notice them. The audio response is great, I like good bass definition and these headphones did not disappoint either myself or the rest of the family who now want to use them! They are not noise cancelling, but for use in the home you will definitely be able to imerse yourself in your favourite music and pick out subtleties and detail across the whole range of sound. In summary a great headphone for the price - try them out!
