5.0 out of 5 stars Great player supported fully in GNU/Linux Ogg and Flac formats and you can install Rockbox to enhace it abilities., 7 Oct 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I installed Rockbox on it as soon as it arrived works great http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/SansaClip. Great device use it at work with an external speaker most days love it. It plays all day is easy to use and if it had a down side it's so small I keep misplacing it! With the rockbox firmware I can also play many more audio formats flac ogg and the usual mp3 wav etc. It can charge and play at the same time from the usb plug or the pc. If I loose this one I'd buy another and I wouldn't say that about an ipod

5.0 out of 5 stars Works brilliantly, 17 Oct 2013

Getting wifi to my workshop while possable with wifi was tricky. The thought of running a ethernet cable 50 meters from one building to another not appealing. Plugged them into electrical sockets, one into the router one in to the next socket to synced them. The plugged the other in the workshop. and connected my pc. done . Plugged in a wireles access point and now have good wifi signal in worksop. They just work. love them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Big but long usage, 17 Oct 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Arrive quickly and well packaged. It's much bigger than the standard battery so sticks out downwards raising the netbook up a bit. Battery life is hugely improved from about an hour on a good day with the old one to 5,6,7 hours depending on usage with this one.

Very happy

5.0 out of 5 stars New life to an oldish phone, 14 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Arrived quit quickly and well packaged.

Having been used to an old Sony k750i that would last many days. When I bought a HTC hero and my battery life went to about a day needing a charge every single night. All a bit of a shock. Maybe smart phones need renamed?

Then it went from lasting about a day to about 20 minutes :)

This battery lasts about 3 days with light use, but does two days very easily. Very pleased. The cover fits closely and while not quite as nice a fit around the lead hole or camera hole as the original, It's not really noticeable the phone still looks good.

As for the size I couldn't care less if its 5mm thicker and a few grams heavier it not a fashion item it's a phone. But to be honest most people don't even notice until I tell them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works with Linux-libre kernel, 30 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
For anyone wanting a wifi stick that works with a linux-libre kernel (later ones with gnu in the naming scheme)

Try the TP-Link-TL-WN722N or TP-link-TL-WN722NC (one has a cradle) You need to compile the firmware but it's easy enough. The free as in freedom not beer firmware is the ath9k-htc see the debian wiki for details on how to compile it.

Another libre compatable wifi stick is the Netgear WN111v2 which has the gpl'd Carl9170 firmware

Just add the firmware to /lib/firmware and reboot

I would give it 4.5 if possible for the fact I needed to to build the firmware but 4 is to low a rating for a very good wifi stick for someone wanting to run libre software.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very long range, works ootb on Debian Gnu/Linux, 29 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Arrived well packaged and within a week.

I run Debian GNU/Linux

I bought this in haste as I was looking for a wifi adapter that had free-software drivers. This does but the firmware is not libre even though it's included in the Linux-Kernel.

That said it works out of the box on Debian 7. I wanted a long range wifi adapter so I could use a computer in my workshop and connect to the house 80 meters away. This needs to get through 5 thick brick and stone walls. It did with a bit of fiddling with the antenna position. What did surprise me was it picked up the neighboring farm across the valley which is .92 of a mile away with over 70% signal strength. There is an uninterrupted view so no obstacles what so ever, but still at damn near a mile impressive.

The TP-Link TL-WN727N works also but has the same issue with firmware

For anyone wanting a wifi stick that works with a linux-libre kernel

Try the TP-Link-TL-WN722N or TP-link-TL-WN722NC (one has a cradle) You need to compile the firmware but it's easy enough

or the Netgear WN111v2 which has the gpl'd Carl9170 firmware

Just add the firmware to /lib/firmware and reboot

I have all the above and the best for performance as expected was the GaoHuiHong. Then the TP-LINK-WN722NC with the free athk9-htc firmware then the Netgear WN111v2 with the carl9170 firmware I wouldn't recommend the TP-Link-WN727N it works fine but the others are better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice towbar, 10 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I was a little worried as our car was on the verge of a style change (2001) but the kit was fine. It was listed as unbranded but was a tow-sure (I think) no drilling or bumper removal required and with a bit of fiddling no need to drop the exhaust bracket. Make sure you get the passenger side chassis spacer on the correct side.

Basic fitting and wiring instructions provided. Fitting took about an hour, you could maybe fit it without ramps if your skinny but really there needed. Wiring took another due to needing to run extra cable from the passenger side and my dodgy trailer board! It maybe possible to wire it all from the drivers side but I had no wiring diagram for the loom. Pop the rear lights out with large screwdriver from inside the car and run the tow bar wires straight up to the drivers side lamp. Then run extra passenger side wires down along and back up to the drivers side. All connections can then be made in the same place behind the drivers side rear light and kept dry.

Very pleased with all aspects of the kit. Good price, fitting is pretty straight forward, good quality for a basic flanged tow bar.

Would have given it 4.5 stars

5.0 out of 5 stars Linux and Mac Drivers included, 7 Aug 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very happy, both Linux and Mac drivers included with source so users can compile. I bought this for a friend to use on an eMac with a fried ethernet board (it's soldered to the MB!) Just plug it in, run the driver restart. A nice gui to set it up. You may want to add it to the top of the list of internet connections under the network settings so it's always chosen first over other types of connection. Very strong signal 85% and link quality at 97% at 6 meters away. Very good PDF manuals on eveything! In OSX it shows up as ZyDAS-USB2-WLAN driver ZDA211Mac_USB. Linux packages show as ZD1211LnxDrv_2_16_0_0 and wpa_supplicant-0. Abought £10 with post 1-2 Days
