5.0 out of 5 stars Can't fault this charger., 23 Mar 2013
I have been using this charger to charge my iPod 4G on a daily basis for the past 16 months and I cannot fault it. Very pleased with the build quality and I feel that there's probably years left in its use.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful book, 1 Mar 2013
This book was greatly received by a six year old girl. She absolutely loved the story, and the pop-up features. The book is beautifully crafted, down to every last detail. It's a winner, and continues to be chosen for a bed time story on a regular basis.

4.0 out of 5 stars Beats using a torch any day., 25 Aug 2010
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This book light by Philips is great.

The clear panel lights up at three
different brightness, and is only
1mm thick.

The gray section is 11cm wide, by 1.5cm
deep.

You get a sturdy plastic case, and a cloth
bag to protect the device.

The light thrown off from this is more
than what I expected, so if you are
using it in the company of others, you
will be lit up, especially your face.
But the throw off is not so bright that
it would prevent others nearby from
sleeping, especially on the dimmest
setting.

You first need to charge it, via usb
for 6 hours, then, after that, for three.

This would make a great gift for an avid
reader that travels a lot, who doesn't own
a Kindle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super kettle, 23 Aug 2010
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I love this kettle.

As usual you get the quality of workmanship
that you expect from Breville.

The kettle is fast to boil and has a transparent
measuring scale, measured in cups.

The transparent plastic is visible across the
top of the kettle and includes the spout.
This whole area lights up, including the transparent
area around the front branding badge.

When boiling water, the light colour starts at blue then
changes to red.
For twenty minutes after use, the kettle will glow with
the colour of your choice, then, this automatically stops.
Just press the button to cycle through your choices, (there
are enough colours to suit anyone's kitchen:
(1 press) Green.
(2 presses) Lime.
(3 presses) Orange.
(4 presses) Red.
(5 presses) Pink.
(6 presses) Purple.
(7 presses) Blue.
(8 presses) Aqua.
(9 presses) White.
There is also a choice (ten presses) to have the kettle
cycle through all the colours.

The kettle makes a very quite beep when pressing the buttons.

The spout on this kettle is much larger than my old Breville
kettle. I have found this great for easy filling from the tap
without having to open the lid.

The opening, when the lid is up, would be too narrow to fit
your hand inside. So, if you normally put your hand in when cleaning,
this would be out of the question on this model.

I think this kettle is really stylish, and highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great game, 17 Aug 2010

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This Lego game set was much appreciated
by my 10 year old nephew.

The build quality is as you would expect
from such a renowned company.

The game itself has is fun to play, and
of course, a child can incorporate the Lego
pieces into their building sets, if they
did tire of the game itself.

I highly recommend this set.

WebPlus X4 - Slim case (PC)
WebPlus X4 - Slim case (PC)

3.0 out of 5 stars Not for those who are serious about becomming web designers., 13 July 2010
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
WebPlus installed on my XP Pc with any problems.

I have only had experience of a similar product
called Mr Site, which is a lot easy than this, but is
more limited. (Mr Site has hosting and web design all
included in the price)

The WebPlus interface was slightly complicated.
But as with any software, it will take time to
become familiar with all the intricacies of the
software.

I have not published a site yet, so I cannot comment
on that side of things.

This is a product I would recommend, for novices who need
a program without a massive learning curve, and are not
worried about how good the code is.

But if you want to create a website and have it up and
running with hours, check out the alternatives like Mr Site.

I would definitely not recommend it to people who are
serious about learning web design.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great choice., 13 July 2010
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is the fourth Freecom Databar I own.
It is used with windows XP.
So far I have been nothing but impressed
with their reliability.

The design is spot on. It's well constructed,
and has a tight fitting dust proof cap.
It also has a hole for a key chain.
This one does not have a led light flash when
in use like my previous ones.

I have always been happy with my Freecom products,
and highly recommend them.

4.0 out of 5 stars OK so far, 15 Jun 2010
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
The Webroot Internet security software installed
without a hitch on my Windows XP PC.

The user interface is simple to navigate.

Like most if not all of this type of software made
today, the updates are done in the background
whilst you continue to do what you're doing.

I think the price is very reasonable for three
users.

I would definitely recommend this over Norton,
which really slows down your PC.

4.0 out of 5 stars OK sound, 14 Jun 2010
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
These headphones are really well made,
and not flimsy at all.

The sound quality is OK, with enough base, but
I would rate myCreative Labs EP-630 Noise Isolating Earphones ' Black (Eco Packaging)
as having superior sound quality.

The Philips headphones are waterproof and have an
antibacterial agent.

You get three different sizes for the ear inserts,
which are comfortable, and easily changed.

Highly recommended if you specifically need headphones
for use while jogging etc.

Meanwhile: Pick Any Path. 3,856 Story Possibilities (Top Ten Great Graphic Novels for Teens)
by Jason Shiga
Edition: Hardcover
Price: £6.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun, 14 Jun 2010
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This book is great fun and must have taken
some serious skill and thought to make the
whole concept work.

You start by picking between choices, then follow
the small pictures, guided by pipes, which lead to
more choices.

There are hidden codes which, when discovered
lead you on to more choices.

The book is well constructed with plastic pages.

It would make a great gift for anyone into comics,
from kids to teens.

Highly recommended.
