1.0 out of 5 stars Question Regarding the Accuracy of this book !, 11 April 2015
This review is from: Left at East Gate (Kindle Edition)
This book contradicts many facts from many of the men involved in the incident, It comes across as being Embellished to the point the you have to question it's full accuracy. There are much better and more accurate books available if you want to know what went on at the base over the three days

Kodak Hero 5.1 All-in-One WiFi Printer (Print, Copy, Scan)
Kodak Hero 5.1 All-in-One WiFi Printer (Print, Copy, Scan)

1.0 out of 5 stars DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY !, 3 Dec. 2014
This printer is a waste of money. I found to my cost after only a few months the printer head packed in (as they tend to dry up very quickly and need to be flushed on a regular basis if not used regularly) until they become useless, which isn't long afterwards. Kodak's customer services don't want to know once you develop a problem, and in my case they kept trying to persuade me into buying spares to enhance their company profits. I'm sure this is an on going theme within their customer support after all why build something made to last for a few years when you can get the customer to spend more money to keep the printer working!........YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

1.0 out of 5 stars PIECE OF JUNK !!!, 3 Dec. 2014
Having purchased two Kodak printers (Hero 5.1 and this) I can only say stay well clear, as you are buying into problems. I've found their print heads are of such a poor quality that their working life can only be measured in months not years. They block up easy and Kodak's support is almost none existent. I give this a one star because I have to in order to write the review, otherwise they wouldn't be rated at all. Their printers can end up being a costly mistake so you have been warned!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 26 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Well written about an amazing man who put aside all the wealth and glamour that Hollywood had. in order that he could give to his country. He achieved amazing heights during his career as a bomber pilot in WW2, and until the day he died never forgot those he served with. Jimmy Stewart will always be seen as Mr Nice Guy in Hollywood, but never has the word "gentleman" been so apt for anyone than it is for him. Thanks Jimmy 'you did good'.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, 26 Jun. 2014
I found this book a bit OTT, as the author seems to be self obsessed by his deeds which are no more than those of the hundreds found in the same job, doing the same if not even more dangerous work, disappointed. As a former CPU Officer in the RUC I felt the author ran away with his thinking when writing the book, which left a somewhat distorted view of the job.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good watch...... but..., 26 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The watch is my second one (the first lasted for five years until moisture got in). I found out that Seiko do not supply parts to watch menders so you have to send it off to Seiko UK for the repairs. To repair my watch was only a few pounds short of the purchase price of a new one.....no brainer. So be warned if anything goes wrong with the watch you may have to dig deep into your wallet to have it repaired.

2.0 out of 5 stars Bruce Lee pre ordered Code sent ....... didn't work!!!!, 26 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: EA Sports UFC (PS4) (Video Game)
Pre ordered the game and received the Bruce Lee code via e-mail with an apology because it was sent out late. When I entered the code it turned out that it had already been used by someone else. I have contacted Amazon and asked for a code that will be accepted. Feel very let down that they can't get their act together for something so simple, here's hoping. Will update if matter is resolved.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best of the Best., 8 May 2014
This is a book many people should read, it lets all who know very little about this wonderful group of men and women who took on the IRA killers (and so called loyalists), and tells of the ultimate sacrifice many of them gave. The RUC was politically discarded to appease the IRA, to bring them into government (many of the IRA terrorists now sit in government in Northern Ireland, who said crime doesn't pay?). The disbandment was the reward the RUC was given for holding the line from a civil war breaking out, and the George Cross thrown in to somehow ease the hurt. The propaganda still aimed at the Royal Ulster Constabulary today by IRA politicians still shows how much the IRA hated this small band of officers who prevented them from carrying out even more murders than the tragic numbers they achieved. History will show how much we owe to them all, and that the memory of these officers will remain for generations to come. This book is well written and will be a record of how humans can on one side help and give to those in need, and those who just wanted to kill and destroy the innocent in society. The RUC have gone and what remains are those who only recently learnt how to put a shirt and tie on, and seem to suffer with amnesia about their past. This book is well written by Richard Doherty and a must.....Great read.
