The writing is wittery and set over the pages of a coffee table book - why publishers do this is beyond me - it's too heavy to read! Not that you'll want to read this. The title suggests it's about flowers for cutting, but the information on which flowers are best for cutting is minimal. Instead the author spends most paragraphs telling us the ins and outs of basic gardening and garden design, often in a very patronising tone, e.g. "Selecting annuals can be daunting" - hmm, actually I find it fun, and "Wilting flowers are not a pretty sight" - no, really?!
Don't buy this infuriating book!
