Him & Her - Series 4: The Wedding [DVD]
Him & Her - Series 4: The Wedding [DVD]
Dvd ~ Russell Tovey
Price: £6.43

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing sitcom that deserves wider exposure in final series, 12 April 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Culmination to a fantastic sitcom which contrasts the 'low brow' lives of its protagonists and antagonistics with an incredibly sophisticated treatment that is more reminiscent of a finely crafted play rather than a sitcom...but with laughs

1.0 out of 5 stars Not suitable as a keyring, 12 April 2016

Sent it back -arrived with the fore" of the craft bent and clearly it is very bendable and not suitable for use as an actual keyring.

Great value "box set" - was happy to have the e version even though own many of the books in print format. Well worth reading for any christians who want to intelligently question their faith, and those who want to see an alternative and scholarly-informed view to the legalistic views of Christianity they may have been (mis)sold. I value most the jewish context he often adds to well known parts of the Bible which often transforms understanding.

simplehuman Slim Pedal Bin - 40 L, Black Plastic

1.0 out of 5 stars Overpriced, look tatty quickly and liners are a rip off, 12 April 2016
Over-priced, forces you to buy custom bin liners at extortionate prices and looks tatty in less than 6 months as the fake metal trim rubs off very quickly - avoid avoid avoid. I literally have no idea why anyone would give these a good review. I don't know how Simplehuman can sleep at night selling this rubbish at the prices they command.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not great, 24 Dec. 2015
Sound not bad, although not as good as I been led to expect. Bluetooth reception is poor with it cutting out quite a lot while playing music which is extremely annoying. Will probably consider an upgrade before very long.

1.0 out of 5 stars Would be a five star review if connectivity wasn't so VERY sub-standard - forget audio out at all, 19 Dec. 2015
Great TV with sound and picture being a genuine step up from my old Samsung BUT and it's a big but, the connectivity provided is really poor. Just 2 HDMIs and no real audio out options at all!here is a SCART socket which apparently can provide audio out though haven't managed this yet- apparently they didn't get the memo that phono connections are still very widely used where other connections may not be available! No optical either so can't even connect to an LG soundbar! 2 HDMIs is not really enough in the day and age of freeview plus boxes, TiVos, XBoxes and PSs and other devices. It does have a LAN connection but not much information about why you'd actually want one! In any event, would have happily sacrificed it for phono outs and/or an extra HDMI.

Really disappointed as it hadn't occurred to me in this day and age that it wouldn't be well kitted out with connection options. LG what were you thinking?!?!?!?!?

5.0 out of 5 stars Great mix of value and quality, 19 Dec. 2015
Picked up a couple at £2.99 of the 2 USB port versions and they seem great quality - really well built and seem to work fine with speedy charging. Have just upgraded from a poundland one that actually drained my battery! Seem a real steal at this price...

EDIT: I notice quite a few reviewers got given this item or a discount for reviewing it. For what it's worth I got nothing for reviewing it although if anyone wants to send me money, I'm perfectly happy to have it :)

3.0 out of 5 stars Great game from PC - Android transfer needs a little more work to make as great, 27 Oct. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Great game that I loved on PC and seems to have made transfer to Android intact, although it needs a little more tinkering with to make menus etc more readable on a phone sized screen. Also don't seem to be able to adjust in-game brightness and a little dingy at times.

5.0 out of 5 stars Side project that's as good as the main course, 27 Oct. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Yours, Dreamily, (Audio CD)
Dangermouse has had a lot of stick from Black Keys fans for changing their sound and making them all "pop". This is probably the final nail in that argument's coffin if Blackroc (not to mention the non-DM tracks on Brothers) hadn't been enough nails already. Without DM involvement, Dan's clear interest in other genres of american music gain takes flight, with a lot of soul flourishes, perhaps making this closest in style to Attack & Release of all BK's releases. Stay In My Corner shows off what Dan can do with a complete immersion into classic soul, and there are plenty of other funky and soulful touches here. Dan's last solo album never really took flight for me although nice enough in places, whereas this is as good as BK's own output. Turn Blue was my favourite album last year, and it's almost certain at this point in the year that Yours Dreamily will be my favourite this year.

Flower In My Pocket is a total earworm with a great video and there is plenty here for any of the BK fans with wider musical tastes to thrive upon.

Knives seem to stain/rust really easily, and the block had a Viners sticker stuck over the original branding of the block which has started to come off
