Excellent read, 24 Feb. 2014
I really enjoyed this. Well plotted and well written. I found myself identifying with the characters and caring what happened to them. But it was a pity the author didn't do some more careful research on her setting. She appears to think Toronto is in the United States, and that it's built on a river. In fact it's in Canada, on Lake Ontario. At one point she has her protagonists heading off to a suburb in ten youth of the city - which would put them in the lake. And she keeps referring to the 'state' whereas the Canadian term is 'province'; and using American terms like DA and 'detective'. If she plans to write more books about Eleanor Raven, which I hope she will, she needs to get these sorts of details right.
