4.0 out of 5 stars This is a good example of the Dale Brown books - worth a read for his fans, 4 Nov 2012

This review is from: Tiger's Claw (Hardcover)
If, like me, you have enjoyed the "techno-thrillers" that Dale Brown has written over the years you will not be disappointed. The technical analysis is good and the action gripping. Certainly, this title, as with the last few books, is back to a really good level of writing. My only gripe with it (hence the four stars - rather than five) is the ending where, having built up the plot towards a strong action sequence, this occurs all too quickly. Unlike in some other of his titles where the action sequences are built up from multiple actors view points and over several chapters, this reaches a rapid conclusion - almost as though the publication deadline was looming! Still - a good read and well worth buying for any aviation related "techno-thriller" fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply the best F1 book available, 4 Nov 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
If you are an F1 fan and have not seen inside the Piola F1 Technical books, then you should.
Put it this way, you can now see his drawings on the F1 site itself. The commercial owners of the Formula One brand want to make sure that they are associated with only the best! The book tracks the detail changes on each of the cars through the season. Although the English translation is not always totally fluent, the graphics are outstanding. If you want to get a better idea of the changes that occur to a modern formula one car through the season, this is definitely a great way to see just what changed - race by race. There tends to be detailed sections on the steering wheels, engines and brakes as well as excellent visual explanations of how the aerodynamic changes introduced produced their results. All in all, a gem of information and beautiful graphics as well. Well worth the price, and the wait between the end of the season and the publication date!

Nike Air Zoom Structure Triax+ 15 Breathe Running Shoes - 8.5 UK UK

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Support Trainer, 4 Nov 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I read several reviews of trainers which provided additional support.
The Zoom Structure 15 were rated by a number of on-line blogs as the best and I purchased a pair.
I have not been disappointed - indeed, I have purchased a second pair - one to use in the gym and one for outside use.
An excellent trainer for those whose feet need some additional arch support.
