3.0 out of 5 stars Great Book - No CD!, 18 April 2009
After receiving book, realised why price so good - no CD! That apart, the book itself is great and an excellent way to start learning the guitar - notes, 'mini-chords' and full chords introduced sequentially to help the learner.

5.0 out of 5 stars Static and Silence - Your Sunday Best, 29 Aug. 2006
This review is from: Static And Silence (Audio CD)
If you know nothing of The Sundays, now is the time to stop missing out. After a hard day with the children, uncork a bottle of re wine, relax in a comfy chair (preferably on a hilltop overlooking a beautiful welsh beach) and allow this wonderful music to wash over you and help you retain your sanity. Be moved, be uplifted, be enriched, be sustained. Be sensible...go and buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love and Death - Love or Loathe?, 17 Aug. 2006
There are those who have been thrown into confusion by this departure from the norm, and decided that it is not for them. Each to their own of course...All I can say is that the change of perspective worked very well, and explored the effects of living with the doctor beyond those who regularly keep his company. The personable, flawed characters featured were the sort of people who, in an ideal world, would be the movers and shakers. Their relationships blossomed when they were free to do their own thing. On Peter Kay's arrival, everything nosedived (no change there then) and a bitter sweet ending followed. I loved it and so did the rest of my family, aged 42, 6 and 5. Like they say... you can't beat a bit of ELO.
