Lee Child's giant protagonist Jack Reacher is in his usual kick-ass form.
This time out he is looking to avenge the deaths of four of his friends. Along the way we get the outstanding action that we have come to expect of Lee Child. Absolutely no one does it better. He controls the ride from the opening misdirection to the heart-stopping finale.
DON'T EXPECT TO HAVE ANY FINGERNAILS LEFT BY THE END
We also see Reacher reflecting on his chosen life style as he joins forces with the remainder of his old special MP unit.
You won't be able to look at a helicopter again without shuddering.
