1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money, 7 Sept. 2010
I bought two of these, thinking that I might have problems applying the protector and it would be best to have a spare. Cleaned the screen using the supplied cloth, then followed the instructions. Pulled down the yellow tab and applied with the card. There were a few small air bubbles but overall I was quite pleased. I then pulled down the blue tab as instructed... and it pulled the protector right back off the iPhone and managed to get dust all over the back of it.

Tried again with the second protector and had exactly the same problem.

Complete waste of £10.

1.0 out of 5 stars DRM-tastic, 20 Oct. 2008
This review is from: Dead Space (PC) (DVD-ROM)
This sounded like a great title - Resident Evil 4 in space, with ++dismemberment? Awesome.

Unfortunately, EA have decided yet again to ignore their customers, and keep up their utterly ineffective crusade against piracy. Much like Spore, I imagine Dead Space will be available on the Torrent sites days before it's even released, and their DRM will have won them nothing.

I won't be pirating the game, so it looks like I'll be missing out. Congratulations EA, you just lost another customer!

4.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, but too short, 4 Sept. 2008
This review is from: Below The Lights (Audio CD)
There are some fantastic ideas on this album, and even the not-so-fantastic ones still somehow work (jazz flute, I'm looking at you). My only real criticism of this album would be the length - at just over 45 minutes, it's over all too quickly. Obviously "progressive" doesn't have to mean ridiculously long, but a few more "normal" length songs would have made it all the better.

Overall, it's still a great album, and well worth picking up!

5.0 out of 5 stars A bargain at £15!, 22 Jun. 2008
This is perfect for those who want to give My Dying Bride a whirl, or for the fan who only owns one or two albums. There's a nice mix of old and new material here, as well as a few live tracks and remixes. Unfortunately, only the remix of "My Wine in Silence" is an improvement on the original, so there's very little here for the hardcore fan, other than the 40-page booklet and the gorgeous packaging.

Even given that, I still have no hesitation giving this album a full five stars!
