Bought this to replace the original UN54 BB that came with my bike. To be honest it was still running perfectly after 7400 miles but for less than 20 thought it better to replace at a convenient time before any problems started. Hopefully this will perform as well!

Delivery was fast and product as described. Slightly tighter fit than the original UN54 unit that was already in but ok with some elbow grease. Hopefully by the time this one needs replacing I'll have a new bike!

Every track on this album is fantastic. Put it on, lie back and prepare to get wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket of electronic beats, haunting reverb-drenched vocals and hypnotic melodies. However many times I listen it stays beautiful and fresh. I discovered this from the film Kings of Summer which uses the track "17", but I don't think that's even my favourite track. Montana, if anyone's interested.

5.0 out of 5 stars A book everyone should read, 6 Aug 2013

This is a well written and accessible book that addresses head-on the contemporary issues in the Church and wider culture that will define this generation. In one concise book issues including gender equality, whether marriage is only legitimate when it is based around procreation, celibacy, and what it means to be in the image of God, before looking in detail at homosexuality in the Bible.
This book really breaks new ground in moving the conversation on and giving new starting points for further exploration and discussion.

Pandemic - Game in English

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic cooperative game, 25 Mar 2013

This review is from: Pandemic - Game in English (Toy)
This is a fantastic game, and makes a refreshing change from competitive game play. The twist is that all the players play together against the game. There are three difficulty levels, depending on how many epidemic cards you place in the pack at the start of the game, and it also gets harder the more players that play, so it's really simple to tailor the difficulty of the game to what you want.
There are lots of different options on how to play the game, but not so many that it takes ages to learn the rules, and every game will be different and demands a different approach.
I have played this several times in different contexts and with varying amounts of players and it has excelled in all of them. Because it is cooperative it's great at getting conversation going as everyone chips in with their own ideas about the best plan of action, but the excitement remains because there's still the opponent of the game (which can be fiendishly hard!)

The only health warning with this game is that if a member of the group is overly vocal and alpha-male it can ruin it, so choose your playing partners carefully!

The most original and fun board game brought out in a long time.

I changed to these after needing replacement toothbrush heads for my Braun Oral B electric toothbrush and not wanting to pay 10 for four new heads. After looking around I found these, which are a fifth of the price, and you get four times as many head!
Unfortunately there's a good reason for that. The heads are just not as good a quality and don't do the job anywhere near as well as the more expensive alternative. These heads are not firm enough, and however long and hard you try to brush your teeth still feel unclean in places. These heads also wear out much quicker than more expensive heads, so even though you get more for your money you need new heads at about the same time.
I have now gone back to the Oral B heads and will never stray again, they are simply much better than these cheaper options.
If you're really short on money go for these, but you'd probably get the same quality clean with a manual toothbrush.
If you can do without a tenner, then get the genuine heads and you won't regret it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Expensive, but the best option, 22 Mar 2013

Being a bit of a bargain hunter, I'm always looking around for cheaper alternatives to branded products. When I needed new brush heads and saw a pack of 4 cost a tenner I switched to a non-Braun brush for about a fifth of the price. However, having used that I can also say it's only about a fifth as good as these.
And so when the cheaper heads had worn out (in about half the time) I bit the bullet and ordered these again. Having used them for several days I can honestly say they are worth the extra money. They get your teeth incredibly clean, and are firm without being painful. They also last really well, offsetting some of the extra cost. If you've spent the extra money on an electric toothbrush then it's counter-productive to try to save a few quid by putting inferior heads on. These are simply the best heads you'll get, even though you do have to pay for the privilege.
I only give it 4 stars due to the price

I'm a physiotherapy student and I spent a long time deciding which book to get to help me learn the muscles, their proximal and distal attachments, and how to palpate them. After reading some many positive reviews I plumped for this book and I'm so glad I did. These are the main reasons this book is well worth the money:

1. Comes with a very high quality 3 hour long dvd with demonstrations on how to palpate the different muscles.
2. The fact it's spiral bound means it sits open and makes life much easier than a paperback.
3. The layout makes it quick and easy to get to the information you need.
4. Fantastic detail laid out in a simple way, with fantastic drawings and several different perspectives to make it clear what muscle connects where.

I can see this book being useful throughout my degree and my career too, I can't recommend it enough,

3.0 out of 5 stars For the price good, but worth spending more for better, 29 Jun 2011
This is a very cheap cycle computer and as with all things in life, you get what you pay for. It is a great price and on the whole it does what it says on the tin, however I have had several problems, most of which seem common to the other reviews.
Firstly, it's a begger to set up due to very low tolerances on the gap needed between the magnet and the sensor in order for it to register. After various modifications and adjustments I eventually got it working but in a years use it has never been completely accurate, missing a wheel rotation from time to time. This means the speed reading suddenly shoots up to around 60-70mph, before it corrects itself. While this doesn't really affect the distance and average speed readings it does make the maximum speed reading completely useless and I have never had one trip with a realistic max reading.
The temperature reading is wildly unreliable too, a ride on saturday reached 40 degrees, and I can tell you Manchester never gets that high! The calorie and fat readings are interesting but pretty spureous as it doesn't have a heart rate monitor but just calculates some kind of average based on weight, age and distance travelled.
Finally, after a years use the computer has stopped detecting the sensor and so it's now useless.

All in all, this is probably worth the cheap price, and has been better than nothing over the last year, but I have just ordered a replacement computer 3 times more expensive and I'm looking forward to a more reliable and robust computer.

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent hardwearing and comfortable boot, 1 April 2010
This review is from: Lowa combat boots Gore-tex
I'm a police office and wear this boot day in day out, rain and shine. i bought these boots over 2 years ago and as yet there's still no sign of them giving up on me. they're fully waterproof, comfortable out of the box, extremely hard wearing and not too heavy. i can trample over any terrain without fear and they always clean up to look brank new. there is no sign of wear on the stitching, or any of the joints or seals. the sole is starting to wear down but these can be replaced. i highly recommend these boots for a working boot that will last forever and keep your feet safe. they're a bit too heavy and bulky for light use and walking though.
