5.0 out of 5 stars Awe Inspiring and Heart Rendering, 2 Aug 2001
This review is from: Under a Sun (Audio CD)
The second effort from this unappreciated band has more heart and soul than most of the latest releases such as Travis' 'Invisible Band' and Stereophonics 'Just Enough Education to Perform'. Witness develops their own style from their previous album 'Before the Calm' and continue with the enthemic melodies and thought provoking lyrics. each indivual track provides something different to the listener. I would recommend this album to anyone who purchased 'Before the Calm' and I would say to others that have never heard of this band, take a chance on either 'Before the Calm' or 'Under a Sun'. You will not regret it!

5.0 out of 5 stars It reassures you one second and terrorises you the next., 6 Nov 2000
This review is from: Jack and Jill (Paperback)
James Patterson has done it again. I have read this book many times and it never fails to intrigue me with the twists and turns that have become the trademark of a James Patterson novel. Again, Alex Cross has to fight for what he believes in and for what he is pressurised to do. His passion for his children and the children of Southeast and the evil that he pits his wits against in this book show that Alex is not a man to be messed with. The story of Jack and Jill takes the reader on a horrifying journey into the lives of the rich and famous and screams to the world that not even the protected are same from the demons of the world.
This book is a must for those who have read Along Came the Spider and Kiss the Girls.
Alex Cross will never fail to thrill!!
