A must!, 3 Jan. 2013
In our days of sci-fi and vampires this book brings us back to earth with a bump.
I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview!! Once A and L had finished, I read it from beginning to end until very late and found it very moving, interesting and real. Many emotions: shock, fear, laughter, frustration, sadness... Ever-changing points of view: Megan, patients, nurses, parents and Grandad. The author evokes the tragedy of sickness and loss with love, humour and sensitivity. I feel as if I have lost a young friend too.
