5.0 out of 5 stars A book not to be judged by its cover!, 14 Mar. 2015
This review is from: House Broken (Paperback)
Inside this sweet looking book is a tale of a family tormented by a dark secret that many of them are not even aware of until the end. Interesting human and dog characters unfold the story of an extended American family coping with the reckless behavior of family members. It follows their efforts, not always successful, to keep the family together and safe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic snow boots that have lasted 8 years so far, 5 Feb. 2014
This review is from: Terrain Snow Boots (Apparel)
I bought these at over 8 years ago have used them as winter boots in the snow every year since. They are extremely comfortable, warm and waterproof. Excellent for walking in snow, including fitting to snowshoes. A great investment that I still expect to be using several years from now, as I continue to shovel yet more snow in the winter storms of Pennsylvania.

Pros: comfortable, warm, waterproof
Cons: None that I can think of

Marmite Very Peculiar Chocolate Bar
Marmite Very Peculiar Chocolate Bar
Offered by Gadget Grotto
Price: £5.01

5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious twist on chocolate, 17 Jan. 2014
I received this as a gift from the UK and I was very pleased with it. Others have stated the Marmite flavouring is too light, but to be honest I think the confectioners have got this about right. I would imagine too much Marmite would overpower the chocolate; as it is there's just enough of the flavour to take the edge of the chocolate and make it a bit different. I would put this to the top of the same category as sea-salt chocolate. Definitely recommended and very more-ish.

Pros: unusual, subtle taste, nice packaging, ideal gift
Cons: cannot buy easily in the US (some on Amazon, I thought you were global!)

5.0 out of 5 stars Gripping read with plenty of twists, 29 Sept. 2011
This review is from: Headhunters (Paperback)
A more light hearted book compared with the latest in the Harry Hole series. It has a good pace and keeps you interested. Will make a good film, if you haven't read the book...
