4.0 out of 5 stars True to the film, 31 Dec 2006
This film was absolutely brilliant and I have no idea how anyone could say it was bad. The movie was true to the book and Ian McKellen and Paul Bettany deserve an oscar for their parts as Sir Leigh Teabing and Silas. Don't trust the reviews this was a stunning movie.

4.0 out of 5 stars A little short but good., 31 Dec 2006
No idea how they are going to make a movie out of this story but the books are interesting. If you have read advertisements saying that if you like 'A Series of Unfortunate Events you will love this book' don't believe them. They are nothing like A.S.O.U.E! However if you like fantasy, fairies, trolls, goblins and are under ten (or an adult who enjoys reading to ther children) then read these books. Children will love the story about two twin brothers and their sister who find a magic field guide to magic creatures in their aunt's house and are sent on a wild goose chase as evil magic creatures lead by the ogre Mulgrath to retrieve the book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Adorable and fun, 31 Dec 2006
This book is a must read. The book is based around a cane toad called Limpy who wishes the world would stop running over Cane toads. So when the Sydney Olympics come round he sets out on a quest to become the mascot for the Olympics. This is something that will make you laugh out loud and make you want to read it again and again!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Brilliant Piece of Work, 31 Dec 2006
This book was absolutely stunning. A must read! Every character is descibed terrificlly and the author manages to give me history lessons and still keep me interested. If you like looking into history, codes, not-stop thrilling action then read this book. People from the age of twelve up will enjoy a story about the search for the holy grail and the history of the church.
