1.0 out of 5 stars This is a 187 page advert you have to pay for?, 22 Jan. 2014
I saw this book in Sainsbury's and was intrigued by the title, I brought this book (£3.49 btw) in the hope of learning something new, maybe a new idea I could start a new business doing and/or some new marketing ideas that would work for my other business.
I found nothing but a 187 page advert promoting the Cash On Demand system.

Any useful information contained in this book could be written on a single page of A5, the rest is fluff. There is far better information available free via blogs.

Before I'd really started the book I'd ordered the £1 offer for the DVDs etc and joined Andrew's funnel!

Andrew is certainly clever that he got his Ad published into book form by Capstone and actually on shelves in Sainsbury's which makes you think it's got to be okay! He also tells you about how his system works by getting people into his funnel (but not how to actually do anything) to keep selling them things at a higher price each time, which is what he is doing to you the reader.

So if you want to know the system here it is;

1.Decide on a niche you want to sell information products in - Health, Wealth, Investment etc
2.Find someone else's information products to sell (search become an affiliate on Google)
3. Build a single page website (known as a squeeze page) with a sign up form for each product.
4.Build an email list by giving away low cost or no cost information products as this means people are more likely to buy from you if there is no or low risk (also offer a no quibble money back guarantee) and use an email program like Constant contact, build your list via Direct mail, small ads in magazines and papers, use Google pay per click ads and Facebook Ads and buy from a list broker etc to send people to your product squeeze page.
5. Mail out to your list selling the re-branded information products at a stupidly inflated price.
6. When the orders come in they get shipped out via a fulfillment house.
7. Repeat steps with ever increasing priced products.

That's it you now don't need to read the book as that's basically it, plus lots about Andrew and his life, However if you'd like to learn about the system and go deeper down the funnel you can pay £30 a month for the privilege!

I have the feeling it would be much of the same fluff until you've paid out several hundred pounds and maybe joined an inner circle or something to find out what programs he uses.

If you seriously want to look at starting a business and make some money and want good information read books from entrepreneurs like Branson, Bannaytyne or Sugar or read about Henry Ford, Charles Schwab or Andrew Carnegie see what they did and copy them.

If you want to learn some good marketing information about direct mail, copy writing, and Google PPC etc. again you can get it for free via blogs or proper books that actually give you the information in the pages. I say shame on Capstone for printing this and Sainsbury's for stocking it.

I hope this helps.

PS still wondering what was on the DVD and the manual I ordered for £1?
It's the same info that was in the bloody book! which should tell you something.

5.0 out of 5 stars Little book of Gems, 23 Jan. 2009
This is a fantastic little book, that just gives huge amounts of useful info, You don't need to be a website wizard to use the ideas in the book to get your site seen. The extra traffic your site should see if you follow the tips will more than pay for itself.

Cheers

5.0 out of 5 stars Life changing, 23 Jan. 2009
An absolute fantastic book It has changed and continues to change my life, It really all make sense, It's all about doing a little bit each day to become better and gain that slight edge, an example is read 10 pages of a good book each day (thats a development book not a fiction book), It's easy to do and easy not to do if you read just 10 pages by the end of the year you would have read around 15 to 20 books, make this book the book you read 10 pages of per day.
It's helped me in my business MoneyMakerSite co uk and if you run a business it can help you too! as well as your personal life.
It will change your life but only if you do those small things everyday.

5.0 out of 5 stars Start a business with this book, 15 Dec. 2006
So you're thinking of starting, going to start or already started a business.

Then you should read this book. It helps by breaking down the process of starting a business into bite sized chunks that as the title suggests can be eaten week by week.

It's full of useful information and is backed up by a great online community flyingstartups.com with it's very own podcasts that has been set up by the author, whom you can tell is also passionate about the members of the site and their businesses and or ideas.

If you're thinking of Starting a business then great, but don't do it until you've read this book, If you're already running a business but are stuck in a rut and/ or looking to grow it then read this book.

I started my Electrical contracting business over a year ago now and wish i'd had this book then, it's full of usefull ideas, tips and advice on how you can improve yourself, your business and your staff.

Rather than being written about the mundane business stuff such as legal/ accounts etc this book concentrates on what i consider the fun side of business the stuff that makes a real entrepreneur!

The book i'm sure will also be great for me as a reference for the future growth of my business and won't be sitting on the shelf gathering dust now i've read it.

So happy reading and good luck with your business(es)

Paul
