5.0 out of 5 stars Very Funny & Honest, 19 Feb 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Under The Duvet (Paperback)
Excellent, a very funny, very honest read that made me feel more normal. Will dip into it from time to time in the future, having read it through in one session. The high's and deepest low's of Marian's life told so candidly gave me a deeper understanding of depression, is really a book about survival.

5.0 out of 5 stars VERY GOOD, 27 April 2012

Really like this mat, I have a bad knee & it gives that extra cushioning I need, doesn't smell, non slip. Can't say a bad word about it. It's light, easy to carry, lies flat, would highly recomment if your moving up from a 3mm but don't want to be wobbling about on a 10mm.

4.0 out of 5 stars Loved this one by Marcia Willett, 3 May 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Courtyard (Paperback)
Once again Maria Willett bought her characters in The Courtyard to life & delves into the psychi of love and loss & unconditional forgivness. Weaving once again The Lord Almightly into the story was a delight. A good read that makes one look at onces own life & feel grateful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy Peasy, 18 Dec 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Went by previous reviews before buying this product, which depicted my choice, took it out the box, plugged it in & away I went moving files and pictures. Just the ticket, nice and slim, I am no computer wizard & this is just to easy peasy, a great buy.

This review is from: Gurrumul (Audio CD)
Heard this guy on Radio 2 last night, just one song and I had to find him, have written this before the CD arrives, can't wait to hear the rest of his stuff, his voice touches your soul somehow, don't understand the words, and don't care, this man is a genius.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book gives hope, 9 Aug 2007

For anyone dealing with the grief of loosing a child of any age (a lifetime's work) or indeed someone close to them, give this book a go if you can get hold of it. After the raw stages, the feeling of being isolated & having nothing in common with most people can be terrifying. This book is a series of chapters, written by mostly mothers but fathers too, on the circumstances of the childrens' death, how they struggled & coped and how things are today. It is courageously written & may give hope to those who feel the pain will never get any better. It has integrity & honesty and some wise words. So few books can bring a comfort on this subject, but in my opinion this one does. The compassionate Friend's who put this book together do such good work, it might be a good idea to look them up & give them some support.
