1.0 out of 5 stars A joke of a game, 19 Mar. 2013
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
My fondest memories as a teenage gamer from Sim City 2000 and Elite 2! Both of these games were simple to start but had depths unheard of in recent years (bar starcraft 2 which is more about tweaks). Anyone i bought this thinking it would be a continuation of SC4, another brilliant game though brutal. How wrong can i be. First they removed cheetah speed. Next the game saves to the cloud keep on being corrupted. Followed by an entire region of play being lost. This is an awful game that EA have had to pay off costumers with a 2nd rate action game and a 2 year old FPS. This was not good enough and will probably mean I land up modding the game so as to avoid dlc etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply the best item i've ever bought, 26 Nov. 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Simply the best item i've ever bought. Great price, feels nice in the hand, has some lovely options, and opens up a whole world. So many books available plus when used with a conversion program means you can read pdf's etc. Do not hesitate on a purchase if you love reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Blown away, 15 Jan. 2009
I would like to join in with the previous 10 reviewers and say how good the restoration of this film is. If only all re-releases had this much care taken.

4.0 out of 5 stars The perfect example of why you must have blu-ray, 30 Mar. 2008
I won't bore people with a synopsis of the film as others have done this before. What i will say is this film looks sharp and very detailed. I was able to notice individual defects in the uniforms of the soldiers. The colours while washed out still looked amazing realistic. Explosions and fire scenes were brought to life excellently through 1080p, especially when a Japanese soldier catches on fire.

The sound is deep and booming, with the voices clear showing the excellent balance between effects and dialogue. This is the film to show people why if they care about the quality of the images they watch they should buy blu-ray.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent and easy to read book, 19 Mar. 2006
Only half way through this book at the minute but will update review when finished.
Firstly the only real criticism I can come up with for this book and that is the photography’s of the emperor's works and wall hangings are in black and white. In this day photographs in hardback books should be in colour considering how much extra we pay for the hardback edition.
The pluses are many so far, the book is very well written, a lot of information is contained within an easy to read format. The author makes great judgements on his sources and isn’t afraid to let the read make up his own mind on his opinion. There is an almost stay to the next page feeling from this book, a feeling that going to bed without reading the next page will leave you with a bad nights sleep.
I can’t help but advise this book to anyone, have already advised my Grandmother on a purchase.
