5.0 out of 5 stars metal masterpiece!!, 29 Jun. 2006
This review is from: Rust In Peace (Audio CD)
in my view this is by far the best megadeth album and one of the most complete metal albums ever.frantic riffing, technical solos, amazing lyrics and jaw dropping song structures combine to make it seem all so effortless.i guess thats why the only way was down after this!

2.0 out of 5 stars annoying, 22 May 2006
its a pity m shadows cant use his throat as before because this takes away from what could, indeed should have been a classic metal album. if anything his vocals are letting the rest of the band down. i worshipped waking the fallen thats why im upset at this.

4.0 out of 5 stars beautiful brutality, 17 May 2006
This review is from: Pitch Black Progress (Audio CD)
this band draw a few comparisons,to me they are a heavier more agressive soilwork with a strapping young lad tinge. i find it hard to pick between this or the debut as to which is best but they are both quality.more proof that europe has all the best bands!

3.0 out of 5 stars new nu metal?, 17 May 2006
This review is from: Karmacode (Audio CD)
when the best song on an album is a cover you know your in trouble. when you hear nu metal bass clicks you know lacuna have went backwards. maybe when they get round to their next album in six years time they will be back on track.maybe todaydo

metalcore this aint.in fact its hard to pigeonhole this band into any specific genre.so melodic yet so brutal they can pull at your emotions one minute then rip you in pieces the next.vocals are some of the best on any album.impressive debut

4.0 out of 5 stars new wave thrash, 24 Feb. 2006
This review is from: Ascendancy (Audio CD)
there arent to many bands who have taken their cue from thrash as much as these guys and made it sound like their own.for older metal fans this album will bring back the eightys glory days of the genre.for newer fans this is a lesson in violence and beauty all at once.future kings your throne awaits.
