Great books..will lead to a heated discussion about the ending..enjoy, 17 Mar. 2015
I really enjoyed the first two books in the series. They had a great pace and some unexpected twists. However,(Don't read ahead if you don't want to spoil the ending!!!!) I felt that the third book was slow to start and that it turned into a kill em all spree just for affect. I didn't feel the ending was a just and enjoyable one. I felt it was done more for shock factor. If you want an alternative ending, which I feel is more just and true to the story or self discovery and redemption then please look up google and search for Stephanie Kiel's version. I definitely felt that her ending tied up more character development and that it still gave that suspense required at the end. Besides that I want to say well done to Veronica Roth, it is a difficult journey to write a book and I commend her success. It is just nice to have an alternative to the ending, which then gives the reader a personal choice as to which suits their ideals of the final leg of the Tris and Tobias journey.Definitely worth the read...just to get into the banter of the controversial ending and to mull over the alternative suggestion!
