4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely, 24 July 2010
I really dont know what the people with very negative reviews are talking about...
These speakers are obviously not "concert quality", but for a cheap little pair of desktop speakers, they are perfectly fine for me.
The sound is good, but sometimes has a bit of trouble with the mid-range, however they are well worth the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars A little big for my Macbook Pro 15', 29 April 2010
Got a Macbook Pro 15'... of course this is a 'universal' case and will never fit your laptop perfectly (unless there is some divine intervention!). It's a little bit big for my Macbook Pro. I recommend a case specifically for the Macbook Pro - they fit better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Good for my Mac, 29 April 2010
Bought this drive and am really very pleased.
I am using it with a Macbook Pro i7 and Time Machine.
Before I could use it with Time Machine I had to format the drive of all its 'fantastic' LaCie software. This is done simply with the Mac Disk Utility. After that, it is recognised by Time Machine and you are ready to go!

A couple of queries, the USB 2.0 cable is really VERY short - about 30cm! So your drive will have to be really close to your computer, this wasn't a problem for me - but may be for you! Also, the drive is quite noisy when writing data (not reading), not annoyingly noisy, just a little loud.

As long as you don't mind a really short cable and a little bit of noise sometime, they you will love this drive!
Oh yeah, and the blue light is REALLY COOL!

5.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect, 1 Jan 2010
Everything describing the immense power and BASS of these speakers has been said before... so I will just confirm that everything everyone says about these speakers is true! They are really very good.

Would like to point out, the cables connecting the sattelites to the subwoofer are very short at just over 1.5m each, and you may need to buy extension cables:

Buy them, and you will like them.

1.0 out of 5 stars You would have to be a fool., 18 Dec 2009
This product should be removed!

The details are deliberately misleading, this is not a good projector in any way whatsoever.
Please do yourself a favour and steer well clear of this abysmal item.

Don't even think about buying one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Very expensive.... but does the job, 5 Jun 2009
Wow, they charge allot for a piece of plastic! But in the end, it does what it says on the tin; it is a good memory card holder (much better than the stuff SanDisk give you with their cards) - really chunky and secure.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good... but a bit pointless, 5 Jun 2009
Yes, Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 is a very good program, but it strikes me as a bit stupid.

Why not buy the bundle of Photoshop Elements 7 and Premiere Elements 7. The bundle costs £20 more and gives you a whole new program (which is a fantastic video editing tool).

Just strikes me as silly, after all, all good photographers should be good with a video camera also.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, 11 May 2009
I have a large case for all my Nikon DSLR equipment, but wanted something smaller for when I just wanted to take my camera somewhere (instead of taking 2 other lenses and a flash with it when they were not needed).
This fits my Nikon D60 perfectly. It can be used with either my 18-55mm VR lens, or my larger 55-200mm VR (!!! WITH REVERSED LENS HOOD - WILL NOT FIT OTHERWISE !!!).
Very good quality, and good weather protection. Little front pocket with two tiny dividers for maybe a spare battery and a spare memory card... thats it.

Simple, and did the job for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bad description and picture., 4 May 2009
Well, what I got looks nothing like the one in the picture. It is much bigger and fatter (which in some ways is good), but the only reason I ordered this blower over the very popular Giottos Rocket offering was because it looked smaller, and I could easily carry it in my bag.

It is not small, with the bulb being about the size of a squashed tennis ball, and looks nothing like the picture (in my opinion, it looks allot less cool). It looks more like the Giottos rocket blower, just without the rocket legs.

But overall, a rocket blower is a rocket blower. All it does is blow air, and mine is very good at that, be it large and cumbersome, but still good.

3.0 out of 5 stars No need IF..., 4 May 2009
There is no need to even think about buying this accessory if you have ordered the 55-200mm VR (which this hood is designed for) already.
The 55-200mm VR comes with one of these in the box.

If you bought the lens, and did not get one of these, then it is a good idea. I took two identical photos on a tripod on a very sunny day with the hood on and off. The results were amazing, the hood cuts out all the unwanted sunlight from the sides of the shot and generally gives a much clearer and less distorted picture.

Good for protecting your lens also. If you have a 55-200mm VR and don't already have one (or have ordered an original Nikon lens which comes with one) then GET ONE!!!
