Having read all of Kevin's other books, I was very much looking forward to this one. Kevin and his co-writer William Simon have come out with another stonker that will keep you enthralled on what's going to happen next.
As a techy: This book is filled with plenty of lessons that are relevant today. I particularly find the sections where Kevin really gets into the nitty gritty of how he hacked networks (when he wasn't social engineering as such) really interesting. I think you can feel the hacker enthusiasm really come to life.
As an average Joe: You're looking at a book that tells the story of a man who's enthusiasm for technology and self-improvement took him down some shady roads. Kevin's imprisonment was famous not only for the scale of the crimes he was convicted off, but also the mystery shrouded in what he really did and didn't do. Kevin does a great job at clearing up the true story here. The parts where he opens up personally about the affects of his actions on others is gripping.
A good read! Looking forward to the next one, Kevin? ^_^
