5.0 out of 5 stars Yee-haw... but why wasn't I included in the Toy Story play-set?, 18 Jan. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A great character and as everyone knows the absolute core character of the Toy Story world... why then is he a standalone purchase instead of being included in the Toy Story play-set, apart from ensuring Jessie figurines are moved off the shelves I cannot think of another reason.
In any case he is the central character of all things Toy Story and an essential buy for your play-set.

5.0 out of 5 stars You want "Toy Story" then you must get this..., 18 Jan. 2014

Another example of speedy service on the build up to Christmas... well done Amazon...
I was a little non-plussed as to why the Toy Story play-set should include Jessie instead of Woody but perhaps that's just to force you into buying Woody separately?
In any case Woody was bought in addition thus allowing us to completely unlock the play-set vault and all the goodies that brings to your Toy Box.
On playing with the kids this has proven to be a most immersive play-set and very enjoyable, if you're going for the collection then you'll be pleasantly surprised just how good this set is.

5.0 out of 5 stars A "must have"..., 18 Jan. 2014

Excellent service for the speedy supply on the build up to Christmas.
As for the character pack, this is an absolute "must have" for your Disney Infinity set-up, these characters (as well as helping unlocking the playlet vaults) bring further depth and scope to the game.

4.0 out of 5 stars You Will Lose Track Of Time..., 8 Nov. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought as a birthday present for my youngest daughter (8 years old) at first it was a little confusing but after the initial animation (every new user has to go through it) and a little messing around in the Toy Box we delved into the three separate "worlds" that come with this set.

Of the three "worlds" The Incredibles is the favourite of both my daughters but having sneaked a play or two myself (ahem!) I have to say I thoroughly loved the Pirates of the Caribbean with Jack Sparrow by far my favourite character.

At first Monsters University was a bit too simple and dare I say "dull" but persevere and it livens up to a remarkable degree... if anything I would say that this is the most child friendly of the worlds as Pirates & The Incredibles do involve "killing" Davy Jones crew and robots respectively... all in a "Disney" sense of course.

We bought the Wii U version and although two players is available using a standard Wii controller be aware that a lot of functionality for player 1 using the Wii U controller doesn't appear to be readily available for player 2.... then again that could simply be down to myself and the kids not understanding the rudimentary instructions given for pairing and using...

If you are undecided it will make a great Christmas gift but be prepared for lengthy periods of your kids (or anyone else for that matter) lack of interaction with the world around them for several hours at a time.

All in I give this a four star rating, it really is excellent fun for all the family. It would have been a five star rating but I can already sense this is going to be a very expensive pursuit as more and more characters arrive...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Moves..., 8 Nov. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This was added to the purchase of the Starter Pack as my daughters love The Incredibles.
Compared to Mr. Incredible in the starter pack Violet has a lot of pretty cool moves and can "it" the advancing robots from a good distance, very cool!
Slowly we will expand our character set but Violet is a stand-out favourite thus far and a recommended buy.
