Finish All in One Max Lemon Dishwasher Tablets (Pack of 74)
Finish All in One Max Lemon Dishwasher Tablets (Pack of 74)
Price: £20.00

4.0 out of 5 stars Good product, easy to use, not the cheapest, 18 Feb. 2015
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Very easy to use as the covering they come wrapped in dissolves in the wash.

Cleans glasses as well as any cleaner we've used over the last 10 years or so.

OK to good on baked on stains such as those left by pasta and spaghetti: some stains remain but very light & soon wiped clean.

Pleasant, lemony smell whilst washing and most plates etc come out feeling 'squeaky clean'

Used in a 2 year old Boshe, that does approximately 2 washes every week.

A good, safe if not spectacular buy: worth trying, especially if the "price is right"

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice to have and use body lotion, 19 Jan. 2015
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Not a brand I've heard of before now but my wife and I love this product!

Classy and restrained packaging helps create a feeling of quality. Looks and feels expensive.

In use, it feels smooth and silky with a very pleasant grapefruit smell, that lingers for quite a while.

As others have noted, it doesn't lather up much. Apparently this is due to it not containing any parabens, which seems linked to breast cancer.

All in all, a nice, quality product that I think you'll enjoy using....

GMC GCHD18 18V Combi Hammer Drill
GMC GCHD18 18V Combi Hammer Drill
Price: £79.98

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, general purpose drill, for domestic use, 7 Jan. 2015
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
First impressions are good: well packaged and nicely built in a striking yellow and grey colour.

Comes complete with a charger that only needs an hour to fully charge the drill.

Working as a power drill, drill, and screw driver and able to drill holes in wood, steel and stone, this could be the only hammer drill you'll ever need!

The handle is well shaped and easy to grip, with rubber overlays.

Comes in a soft carry case, which brings me onto a common complaint: the bag looks cheap and the included bits and accessories even more so!

They aren't great to use either and with no compartment in the bag for them, they just annoy!

Shame because the drill itself seems pretty good, especially for the money!

Well worth a look :-)

Bose ® SoundSport In Ear Headphones for Samsung Galaxy - Green
Bose ® SoundSport In Ear Headphones for Samsung Galaxy - Green

4.0 out of 5 stars creates a very good first impression, 12 Dec. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Typical Bose packaging, creates a very good first impression. Opening the carefully constructed box you find the headphones, a neat pouch and a useful extension cable.

These are marketed as 'sports' headphones, so the extension would be useful whilst working out in the gym. The headphones have a small plastic hook like addition on each ear, to help keep them secure: again useful in the gym or when out jogging.

Build is the usual Bose high standard and the buds fit easily and securely, even when moving about.

Sound quality is excellent: detailed and clear with a bass that doesn't boom, even with the volume up high. Musically rhythmic with good clarity to the voices.

All in all a great set of phones, well worth buying.

Please note: these aren't noise cancelling and they do leak sound.

Christmas Elf Funny Mens T-Shirt ,8 Sizes. Xmas Party,Present Gift (2XL 47-49)

4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality, fun product!, 11 Dec. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very fast delivery and fair price. Heavy duty cotton, that looks like it will keep its shape well: pre shrunk too, which should help.

Colours are deep and true to life with the decorations (collar, belt etc) of a good cut.

Which brings me to my slight concern with this T Shirt: the decorations almost seemto be a transfer, superimposed on the cotton. Remains to be seen how well they stays on!

For the money, a good buy and a fun design.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good sound and build quality ...., 11 Dec. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
.... for the money. Less than a tenner for headphones that fit well, a reasonably well built and sound good.

Even includes spare ear plugs and a decent length to the cable.

Very basic packaging: come in a small plastic bag and absolutely no sign of a pouch 😄

Ideal as a stocking filler but not a 'main' present. Perfect for my teenage son who seems to break his headphones almost every month!

Colgate C350 ProClinical Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush
Colgate C350 ProClinical Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush
Price: £25.20

4.0 out of 5 stars Good product. Worth considering, 11 Nov. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
First impressions are good: bright red, shiny box, instantly recognisable as Colgate.

Inside the box it's a standard electric toothbrush affair. Stand for the recharge and 1 toothbrush.

Colgate proudly proclaim the toothbrush is "powered by Japanese technology"; a Good Thing. Obviously 😊

Easy to set up and charge, with a clear light indicating the charge level.

In use, the C350 feels a bit light to hold but the grip is fine.

The tekkie stuff claims a "unique" up and down and side to side cleaning action.

Whatever. Been using it for about a week now and it works fine. Exactly like all the other electronic brushes I've used over the years.

Fair price, good build quality. Worth a look.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you can afford it, buy it!, 14 Oct. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
First impressions are excellent, including the packaging. Box contains all the leads you could ever need. The user guide is clear and comprehensive and - surprising for this day and age - written in proper English!

Total set up time time? Under 15 minutes.

What's in the box? Sound bar, Acoustimas module (looks like a sub woofer) and the programmable remote. Plus optical cable, cooaxial cable and analog cable.

Sound quality? Now this is interesting. I initially tried it out on my TV. Cookery programme happend to be on and I wasn't knocked out by the sound. Changed channels to the first Disney Tarzan movie and immediately noticed the music.

Very clear and tuneful. The jazzy trumpet really sounded jazzy! And like a trumpet!

Found the system can do very loud easily, with no distortion. Bass is loud and not boomy.

Played a few DVDs and the music stood out fantastically! Dialogue very clear too. Background noise subtle but noticeable.

Note: I couldn't get sound from my Sony Blu Ray player at first. A quick check on the manual suggested a solution: use the optical connection for the satellite (or TV) and the analogue lead for the Blu Ray (I guess the reverse would work too - analogue to connect TV/satellite and optical to connect Blu Ray/DVD)

Still didn't work, so back to the manual! Turn off the satellite dish (ie the channels not the TV itself) and BINGO! Sound from my Blu Ray. Turn the Blu Ray off and the sound comes back for the TV. Simple if you read the manual. Or this review :-)

Been using it for a few days now, mostly with TV stuff - soaps, the news etc - and gradually noticed I was hearing much more than usual.

Even my wife noticed 😄

Diction is clearer, quiet moments easier to hear and more realistic. Louder moments have more impact.

Build quality is excellent and shouts "quality"

Use it every day now. Love it!

Philips YS527/17 Click and Style 2-in-1 Shave and Stubble
Philips YS527/17 Click and Style 2-in-1 Shave and Stubble
Price: £48.31

3.0 out of 5 stars Good 2 in 1 Shaver and Stubble Trimmer, 24 Sept. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Marketed for young men, aged 16-25, this is another typical Phillips product. Standard design, good build quality. Functionality at a fair price.

Nicely packaged and although to be honest, I'm not sure why this is sold to appeal to young men only it would make a nice gift, possibly for an 18th or 21st birthday.

It features 2 separate heads, one for your (young?) beard and one for (designer) stubble. Both fit well and are really easy to remove and clean.

A full charge takes about an hour and gives approximately 30 minutes of shaving.

The actual shave is good: smooth with no nicking and reasonably close. Its cquiet too, with a gripo that's easy to hold, helping you make precise cuts!

One thing to note: it is more of a trimmer than shaver and would struggle with a full beard.

Good product, good price, good buy :-)

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Product At a Fair Price, 24 Sept. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
First impressions are very good: smartly boxed in bright colours that match the colours of the iron itself.

The build quality is good and the grip feels safe and secure: the heal is solid and well sized, meaning you can stand the iron upright, without worrying it will fall over.

Phillips claim it gives out a "continuous steam output of up to 35 g per minute". Not sure what that means but its pretty good at 'ironing out' creases, even stubbon dry ones, even on jeans.

It has a standard, good sized, ceramic soleplate, which glides easily across shirts, trousers etc. I tried it on cotton and wool and find the results to be very
good.

All in all its a typical Phillips product: well made, not very diferrent but does what it says on the tin. Worth a look :-)
