3.0 out of 5 stars Not Another Batman Game, 22 Nov. 2014
In the third outing for a Lego Batman and each one is further and further away from Gotham and further and further away from being an actual Batman game.

There is little difference from the previous marvel superheroes Lego game - Batman and Robin are not even the real focus or crux of the game. Their special suit powers are shared with other characters from the Marvel world so begs the question of are they necessary for the game at all?
And the Game itself is yet another round of alien space menace - the initial levels are very similar and almost all traces of humour that were a delight in the early TT Lego games had now all but vanished.

Maybe they had too many complaints of kids putting bicycles in washing machines in order to make a lawnmower ;-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Brotherly Love, 26 Jan. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Compact and not too heavy and good all round performer.
The touch screen is small but still usable and far easier than the old style menu scrolling buttons.

The wireless setup was easy to set up as is the scan to workstation function.

1.0 out of 5 stars Warning - power outage = volumes gone, 26 Jan. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Pros. Simple to set up
Cons. Noisy fan.and a power outage - or even simple reboot can cause the Raid 5 volume to vanish. Even though all drives still report working fine - your shared folders are gone and inaccessible - and so data is lost as Seagate have no answer to this problem.
Their only official answer is reformat and recreate the shares and kiss your data goodbye. Which begs the question what is the point of a RAID 5 set up to safeguard data if a simple power blip renders the whole thing useless.

Google and search Seagates support pages you will find many other cases detailing the same issue and NO helpful response of technical solution from Seagate.

Product returned for refund and not acceptable quality.

1.0 out of 5 stars A wasted opportunity, 26 Nov. 2013
What was special about this?

Nothing - it's just another over long episode with lots of silly running about with gurning and yet another rushed ending involving a magic wand and an overblown music score.

As a standalone 50th anniversary story it fails miserably because it had a ridiculous incomprehensible story line - unless you are complete anorak - that ran at such speed it fails to explain itself for fear of glaringly obvious plot holes or having to admit that there was nothing 'special' about this episode.

And the appearance of Tom Baker - could quite easily have been anyone.

Doctor Who has lost it's subtlety and ability to tell a concise story without descending into farce and snogging.

Save your money and buy the 'Five(ish) Doctors Reboot' when it comes out as it is a far better anniversary story and packs in far, far more in 30 mins.

4.0 out of 5 stars A true film for the whole family, 5 Sept. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Film *****
Features ****

Gilliam's oft cited 'childrens' film is wonderful yarn that works on many levels and really is a film for the whole family.

This presentation has excellent picture quality and a raft of new interviews with the film makers to satisfy those with a yen for 'b' information.

The only negative point is that it does not include any commentary track - not even the censored one that appeared on previous UK DVD releases.
And for that it drops one star.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good effort but a few silly mistakes, 13 Jun. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The colour recovery is a very good attempt but suffers like like the Invasion of The Dinosaurs from 'bronze' flaring on shiny objects.

Also in Episode one, which was manually coloured, there are a few obvious mistakes in the colourisation - the process chair base and the lamp in the hospital should be white enamel not orange - and the hospital blanket is not the right colour. The photo gallery on the disc shows what colour they should be.

Hopefully all these colourisations will be revisited at some point when money/technology allows and these mistakes can be corrected and remove the bronze flaring.

The story is still excellent and those involved should be congratulated on what they have achieved with the limited resources and budgetary constraints.

1.0 out of 5 stars Follow the leader .... again !, 1 Dec. 2011
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
Waste of money for a heavily scripted follow the leader game.

Remember when fps allowed you to find your own way through a level/mission at your own pace with your own tactics? Well the people who keep churning this francise out don't or if they do they can't be bothered or are too lazy to put the effort in to allow players the freedom.

Take a leaf out of Valve's book and design better levels that players can enjoy instead of dragging them through a heavily scripted levels like a parent dragging a toddler around a supermarket on reins.

These type of games have zero replay value.

The front of the box states 25 Items, now that may well be true but do not think that means you are getting 25 different items.

There are only 8 different types of firework.
