4.0 out of 5 stars Fine story, isolates lead character entirely, 3 Jan. 2015

For someone whose read them all it was good but Devlin is now so isolated and Peter Sam cannot carry the weight. Random and the good guys shall we call them have a fine time and in truth this is Coxons swan song. La Buze and perhaps the priest needed 3_4 chapters for themselves at the start to set them up. As they were very important but absent in character and depth. It sets up for a sequel which is great but surely now we almost entirely support Manvel and co....but Devlin is superhuman so they have no chance!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good new characters, 10 Jun. 2014

Decent follow up, again too many times it copy and paste s about the cpt drinking....ages ago I think everybody is over it. The prince is fun and finally some alien side if very little. It's let down by introducing too many potentially good characters and being unsure which to follow, opting for none. Some die some live but you find yourself unattached regardless. There's huge ingenuity in the writers creations of tech or tactics rarely seen.... but if you've read or played. Halo.....which I love btw, it's almost a direct copy. No bad thing but honestly makes some parts predictable, maybe the alien side opening up in the next book can change that?? I hope so.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but too much ghostly romance repeated from the first two., 1 May 2014

A very good end and beginning but a weak middle which left several key characters in the shadow of the Spiderman with great power comes great responsibility thing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome end, 4 Feb. 2014

Some of the series seem amazing whereas some make every character sound the same and not act like they should.... this book was by a long way one of the good ones. Good enough that a new reader and not just a Die hard fan would love. For the first time I find this side of the story to contain AS GOOD characters as rodimus side of events. I know you can't have every book telling the great back story of prime or shock wave but still some other books have been hit and miss. Personally I didn't want Soundwave to say so much and be going through puberty like the other back stories but it was better than some of the others.
