3.0 out of 5 stars Okay, and ties the loose knots, but not as good as the other two, 25 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Dust: (Wool Trilogy 3) (Hardcover)
Feels a bit "stressed". But Hugh manages to tie most of the knots together, and once you've read Dust you will know the meaning of some chapters in Shift and be able to grasp most of the full picture.

However the ending was a bit too simple for my taste given the Epic journey that the readers have been taken on in the previous two books...

3.0 out of 5 stars Great tips for speeches, less so for presentations, 6 Jan 2013
This book is 90% aimed at speeches, and not so much for presentations.
Although you can of course learn a lot for normal presentations as well, most of the content is not adapted to this.
Also it is very U.S focused, although some pointers about other countries and cultures are mentioned occasionally.
So for me it was somewhat dissapointing to read the book since i was more looking for tips on how to do better presentations rather than speeches, but it is easily understood, and well structured and it was worth the price.

Olympus E-420 DSLR Camera With 14-42mm lens (discontinued by manufacturer)
Olympus E-420 DSLR Camera With 14-42mm lens (discontinued by manufacturer)

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent camera for stepping up from compacts, 22 Oct 2012
I bought this with 14-42 and 40-150 kit lenses as a step up from my bridge-camera and feel that it is an excellent buy.
i was also pleased to find that a later firmware hace the option to turn off auto-flash-popup, something that some reviewers found annoying, and that I felt I could live with, but even better is that this is customizable. Speaking of which - almost everything seems to be customizable on this camera, if you want to dive into menues, or just use as is if you are not interested, which also works great.
I have to add that I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the manual as well, very comprehensive.

Interesting book which gives insight in some of the 20th century most secret planes, as well as how to run a very lean operration in the aviation industry.
The book also includes words from pilots, generals and other high in command personal which were involved in procuring or operating Lockheed skunk works products.
