Tomy Harry Potter Monster Book of Monsters Keep Safe Box
Tomy Harry Potter Monster Book of Monsters Keep Safe Box

3.0 out of 5 stars Monster Book needs a spell to open it, 27 Dec 2011
= Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
My deaughter received this as a Christmas present. She loves it, however, she can't use it. We have tried everything to open it including the reset button. So it is sitting in our house as an unusable monster book. We need Hermione to pop round and do one of her best spells to get it to open - Ron wouldn't be able to manage it and not sure if Harry could either!

Inkdeath (Inkheart Trilogy)
Inkdeath (Inkheart Trilogy)
by Cornelia Funke
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Inkdeath., 6 Oct 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
My daughter had read the first two books in the series over the holidays and was desperate to read the final book of the three.
She couldn't put it down until it was finished. I think this is enough to say that it's a good read. But I wouldn't suggest you read it unless you had read the previous two.

Bought this for my daughter who has just read the book.
She loved the books and really wanted to see the film. However, she said that it was different to the book in a few places but this didn't spoil her enjoyment. It was a good buy and I'm sure she'll watch it again. We, the adults, didn't know the book but also enjoyed the dvd.

5.0 out of 5 stars Compact Melbourne, 6 July 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a very compact travel book and map of the centre of Melbourne.
We have been several times before - but are planning to do a lot more in the City centre.
The book has plenty of information but the text is rather small. It means I will have to put my glasses on to read it. It has a clear map of the Trams as well.
Good as a small reference, but I can see me buying a bigger map when I'm there.

5.0 out of 5 stars More Funny Paddington Stories., 6 July 2011

This review is from: Paddington on Top (Paperback)
My daughter bought this with her own money as she had already read 2 other Paddington books.
She loved it and it was very funny. She read it in a day and enjoyed the Paddington stories very much. So she bought another 3 to read, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars DK Sydney, 6 July 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book is fantastic. I have bought this one to update my 10 year old book so I can return to Sydney and sightsee all over again. Loads of good tips and maps.
Last time we went to Sydney we used it all the time. It has loads of colour pictures and photographs and very easy to follow colour maps. Maps also for all the transport services too.
I would recommend this for anyone travelling to Australia who plans to visit Sydney. It is small enough to carry around with you all day.

This Is Borneo, Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei and Kalimantan

Edition: Paperback
Price: £14.07

2.0 out of 5 stars Lots of Pictures, 18 Mar 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book was more like a coffee table book than a travel guide.
Too big to pack in your bag. Not really any useful information.
Lots of colourful pictures. I flicked through it once and have no use for it.
I would not recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good News about the Good News Bible., 18 Mar 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I would recommend this bible for older children (8 -12 year olds).
I have bought this for my daughter for her first communion - it has a few small pictures.
She is an avid reader and has exhausted her first children's bible. But some 7 - 8 year olds may find it difficult. It would definitely be ok for 10 -14 year olds.
It is detailed and exactly what I was looking for.

5.0 out of 5 stars Silver Kicker Boots, 19 Dec 2010

These boots are fantastic. They look stunning and go with everything.
Everyone who has seen these boots has commented on them.
They are excellent quality and I would highly recommend them.
Wear them with Jeans. Wear them with skirts and fancy tights - amazing.
According to my daughter they are comfortble too.
