3.0 out of 5 stars Great fun but colours could be clearer, 11 Dec. 2012

My favourite bubble type game on the kindle fire hd so far. The game is great fun and the touch screen makes it an ideal game for this device. It also has many different and challenging bubble layouts.

My only criticism is that on my device the colours are not very clear or sharp. I've tried changing the brightness to no avail. This is not massively annoying, but is frustrating and would be a much better game if the colours were clearer and sharper.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does everything a Sudoku game should do, 9 Dec. 2012

This game is brilliant, and will keep you occupied for many months.

There are around ten types of Sudoku games (standard, percent, coloured etc), with 8 skill levels for each game. There are between 200 and 500 games for each skill level. There are thus 4000 standard sudoku puzzles, and at least 1600 games for each of the other 7 types.

What I really love about this app is that the game is comprehensively customizable. You can customize colours, input method, type of keypad, orientation and loads more. It keeps stats, you can pause the game, and of cause you are timed.

If you love Sudoku, then you must get this app.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great and addictive, 8 Dec. 2012

Really enjoy this game. You basically need to plant guns where you predict they will be the most productive (I.e. kill the most baddies). The guns then auto fire and auto aim. This game is all about gun placement.

There are loads of levels, loads of types baddies to kill and a shed load of different types of guns. Get this game now. Do not let the dodgy screen shots above put you off.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great fun, 8 Dec. 2012

This is the second game in the Snark series, and this game is just like the first. Obviously with new puzzles and plot.

If you have not played the first game it does not really matter, as they are completely separate games, but retain the same familiarality.

The game is a mixture of hidden object and solving puzzles. There are six locations, each with a handful of scenes. You need to find hidden objects in the pictures, which are then combined to make objects (I.e. find six small items that piece together to make a broom). These objects are used to solve puzzles. This is then continued until the end of the game.

In summary this is a great game that will provide 5 or 6 hours of fun, and is well worth 63p.

2.0 out of 5 stars Slow and dull, 6 Dec. 2012

If you want a hidden object game then look elsewhere. There are dozens better than this.

This game is set on a Cludo styled board, and you visit each room (many times) as instructed by a character in the game, and look for objects.

The problems with this game is that you visit the same few locations repeatedly, which is tedious. Additionally there are three items to look for at each location, and the items are frequently repeated upon future visits to the same locations.

I enjoy hidden object games, and play them often. Vital components for hidden objects are loads of scenes, between a dozen and twenty objects to find, and to ensure that on future plays there are different objects to find on the same scene, or a few repeated items in different positions.

In summary this game does not fulfill the criteria for a hidden object game, and in my opinion is slow, dull and uninteresting. Avoid.

4.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant game, 30 Nov. 2012

This game is outstanding in every aspect.

The game has the look, feel and sound of a Vita or ps3 game. It is truely amazing. There are many impressive cut-scenes which are essential to narrate and compliment the plot.

Be wary of the massive file size, however my advice is to make room and get this whilst it is less than a quid.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good fun but repetitive, 29 Nov. 2012

I enjoyed this game, but it quickly gets repetitive and the the game is rather shorter than similar games. It toom me around 3 hours.

This is not even in the same class as the haunt or enigmatis, but if you like games in this genre it's worth a go. The puzzles are ok to solve, but it is hard to remember the locations directions, even though you know where you should be.

After an hour or so you get slightly frustrated going round the same type of locations, and the end is very welcome. However I'm glad I played it, and was well worth 70 odd pence.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great game but keeps crashing, 27 Nov. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a brilliantly addictive hidden object and puzzle game.

There are tens of locations spread over many different scenes. The idea is that you find small objects that make an item (i.e. you find five objects that are pieced together to make a bucket). The items are then used to solve simple puzzles. One issue is that the objects are very small and can be easily missed. There is a hint though.

Once you have solved the puzzles in one scene, you progress to the next until you win the game. The game lasts for many hours and is hugely addictive.

It's worth noting that once you have downloaded the game and start to
play, the game downloads 300mb worth of information. This massive download takes quite a while and should be made clear before purchase.

One major issue is that on average every 30 minutes the game crashes and restarts (your data is saved though). This is really annoying. I have a kindle fire hd and this is the only app that does this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great fun, 26 Nov. 2012

This is a well presented and highly enjoyable hidden object game.

There are three modes; find by picture, word and silhouette. However only find by word appeals to me. i.e. sixteen words are listed, and you look for the associated images in the picture.

There are around ten levels, each with a different picture. The objects are quite simple to find, but there is a hint just in case.

In summary a great game which you will play many times. My only issues are that there are not enough levels, however for less than a quid is outstanding value. Additionally you have to significantly turn up the brightness on some scenes to find the items.

4.0 out of 5 stars Really useful and comprehensive, 25 Nov. 2012

This app displays latest scores, league tables, fixtures, seasons results and latest news (and more).

It covers the top five divisions in England, the top four in Scotland and also the Northern Irish and Welsh leagues. It also covers a large amount of leagues around the world.

This app is brilliant on match day. Team news and line-ups are displayed prior to kick-off. Scores are updated very quickly (including goal scorer and minute scored), and information such as yellow and red cards and substitutions are also shown. Soon after the final whistle the attendance is displayed.

I use this app whilst listening to the radio every match day. You can even set a favourite team (or teams) and set a sound to play when your team scores, and a different sound at half/full time.
