150ft premium replacement line for rotary clothes line
150ft premium replacement line for rotary clothes line

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent replacement washing line, 23 Jun 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I was going to buy a complete new rotary dryer, but saw this at a fraction of the price.... (There was a "standard" quality one also available, but this one was only 50p more, so worth paying the extra.)
Usual swift/efficient Amazon delivery and product does exactly what it is supposed to do!
Couple of tips: Easier with 2 people and DON'T remove the old line completely before fitting this one.
Instead, work from the middle outwards, removing and replacing one row at a time, following the previous pattern.
Recommended product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly small and quiet - works great!, 8 Jun 2014

Very impressed with this little gizmo. Ideal for backing-up my new PC - I use the system built-into W7.

PC is only USB2, but backups are v fast, nonetheless.

No messing about with mains adaptors, cables as it's powered by USB - much better.

Recommended!

3.0 out of 5 stars Works well with Windows 7 and Intel HD (integrated) graphics, 7 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Unfortunately, I was forced to buy another monitor as my trusty Samsung T200 was not compatible with my new Zoostorm PC.
Everything was stretched, left to right - this was especially obvious with circles, which appeared egg-shaped!
(And yes, I tried everything, including changing umpteen settings and many e-mails to/from Zoostorm and Samsung, without finding a solution, even via Google...)

The Acer monitor was reasonably priced and, as always, arrived promptly and well-packed - well done Amazon!

It is certainly not as attractive looking as the Samsung - and the instructions are absolute rubbish!!

But the resolution is OK and circles are circular!! Also, it is very light, so would sit happily on a desktop (i.e. horizontal) PC, which saves space and brings it up to a better height, also.

One piece of advice: The stand IS adjustable to tip the screen backwards and forwards (15 and 5 degrees, respectively, I think). But it is VERY stiff, so not easy to do - and not recommended to do it with the monitor attached!

Overall, this is OK for the price; does the job, but nothing special, I would say.

4.0 out of 5 stars Saved a lot of time!, 10 Mar 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Used this for transferring data, settings, etc, from my old XP PC to new Windows 7 PC.
It worked well, saving a lot of time, but there are a few things worth noting:
1. It really helps to have 2 monitors, or just one which can be EASILY switched from one PC to the other. (So 2 connection cables needed - probably one VGA and one DVI-D (or as necessary).
2. Several times, I thought that the process had stalled, when it got down to 1 minute remaining - and stayed there for ages... But BE PATIENT, leave it alone, and it does finish in the end!
3. The instructions are slightly basic.
4. Be sure to "Customize" your transfer - so that you do not copy things which you don't want cluttering up your new PC.
5. The Belkin cable is about 2m long - not 0.5m, as in the description!
6. Be warned that it does NOT transfer Outlook Express (neither the program NOR the data) to your new PC.
OE is NOT included in W7, NOR CAN IT BE ADDED! You are forced to use "Windows Live Mail" - which is much more clever/complex.
But you must manually transfer your e-mail settings - AND DATA - to your new PC.
This is a PIG of a job! I spent over 2 days doing it - and a local PC company told me that they had never done this successfully, esp. where there were large numbers of e-mails.... (If you attempt this, I suggest that you ruthlessly cull your existing e-mail folders/emails, BEFORE starting this procedure - and then allow LOTS of time for doing it....)
I finally accomplished it by getting info from Google and YouTube - and burning a lot of midnight oil...
(To say that I am unhappy with Microsoft for making what should a simple task so very complicated and time-consuming would be an understatement!!)
Overall, I am happy with the Belkin product, esp. at such a modest price. I shall probably never use it again, but it did save a lot of time. But such a pity about MS's decision to kill off OE...

2.0 out of 5 stars Had to return it after just a couple of weeks of use..., 21 Feb 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This was a disappointing item - necessitating a return - though full marks to Amazon for their incredibly easy/prompt collection and refund!
It looked v. good, but here were several problems with it:
The blue light failed after just a few days.
It was surprisingly heavy with a thick handle which my wife found awkward to use.
The base - although omni-directional - had a thick "lip" around the circumference, which made it slightly awkward to place the kettle on.
It would not re-boil for some time after its initial boil - so not good for anyone who likes their tea REALLY hot.

Looks good and will certainly protect our lovely new Samsung Tab 3.
It is very slim, but surprisingly heavy - a pity when the tablet itself is so light.
But I would still recommend it, esp. at such a reasonable price - and with a lifetime guarantee from Anker

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential for Audio Connection to New TVs!, 14 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Like most (all?) modern TVs, my new Samsung UE46F6500 (from Richer Sounds) has no way to satisfactorily connect direct to my (old) analogue amplifier...
So an "optical to analogue convertor" was called for - especially as connecting it via the headphone socket did not work very well.
There are LOADS of these available, so choosing one was not easy, esp as they vary in price from around £10 to hundreds of pounds!
This one works well and was easy to connect - though you must remember to buy an optical cable (and, if necessary, a stereo phono lead). [I hid the DAC (which is matchbox-sized) behind the TV, so only needed a short optical cable - you will need a longert one if not doing this.]
One of the reasons that I opted for this model is that it can be powered from one of the TV's own USB sockets - so no need for the 13A power supply which is included - so one less cable to hide! (But you WILL need a SUITABLE USB lead, which I already had.)
It works well - probably not what an enthusiast would call Hi Fi, but neither is my old stero system1

Arrived promptly and works well, including with 3d disks. (But you do need to make sure that it's the 90 degree type you need, not the 270 degree - otherwise the cable may show above some of the new, slimline, DVD/BluRay players.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product and quick delivery!, 29 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Excellent product and quick delivery!
This is a good fit to both the FiiO DAC (which i bought at the same time, from Amazon) and my Samsung TV. Sound is great.
Don't forget to remove the small, clear, plastic covers on each plug, before inserting!
(And make sure that both plugs are FULLY engaged - there is a very satisfying "click" when each is fully inserted.)
