Nothing much further to say about this. It's an all time classic. Is there any music lover in their sixties who hasn't got it?

An absolute classic. Amazing lyrics and vocals for someone at the start of her career. Still her best by far

The basic story is OK. But - it seems to have been written by an illiterate junvenile with no sub editing whatsoever.
Misspellings, typos and just wrong words abound. I cannot believe that this sub-amateur item ever reached the retail shelves!

5.0 out of 5 stars Is the sum as good as the parts?, 10 Jan. 2010
This review is from: All The Roadrunning (Audio CD)
Love both Emmylou and Knopfler and bought 'blind'. Was concerned that the sum was not going to be as good as the parts but shouldn't have worried. They compliment each other seamlessly with Knopfler's Dylanesque vocals, classy riffs and the incomparable Harris voice. Nice tight band as well. Good production, what more could you want. If you like country rock with class to spare, this is it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Is what it always was, 10 Jan. 2010

THE seminal album for all singer songwriters to follow. It's to replace my long worn out original vinyl. As good now as it was then. Xfactor kids, listen and learn!
