1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid at all cost, 24 Jan. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very cheap feeling and looking product. Speakers are terrible and the sound is tinny. Played a single 7" and then the unit stopped working! Returned for refund and market place seller took over a month to give me my money. Even if it worked I'd feel the discounted £49 wasn't worth it, if I'd have paid the £150 RRP I wouldn't have slept at night. Spend a bit more and get a TEAC LP-P1000 you won't regret it

1.0 out of 5 stars Shrunk, 1 Oct. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Item came on time and well packaged. Wife opened it and immediately commented on the material quality and that she didn't think it was good.

Item was woren and daughter was happy but considering the first impressions we decided to take extra care when it was first washed.

As my wife expected the item shrunk and now won't fit my daughter (even though it was a little big in the first place, she is small for 11). Now a £15 duster. I wish I bought from the official Minecraft shop instead of trying to get a cheaper alternative.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 8 Nov. 2008

I bought this to learn from scratch PHP. It's an excellent book and has brillient examples. I had a working web site up and running within a week including security and personalisation options.

If you want a PHP based web site and have just a bit of HTML knowledge then you'll not get a better book then this to help you.

2.0 out of 5 stars Nonsense, 8 Nov. 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this book hoping to get an understand of Alchemey. It's not a book for the lay man and explain nothing of the reason WHY the alchemist is practising all this.

If you are buying this hoping to gain an understanding (starting as a layman) then try elsewhere.

3.0 out of 5 stars Vauge, 8 Nov. 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It's a very vauge book, the auther is constantly explaining that they are not an expert of the subject, which lets face it if you what to learn about something you want an expert to do it.

Her personal journey was interesting but wasn't what I bought to book for.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not for the beginner, 8 Nov. 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Although well written this book isn't for someone who is looking to get into maths above what they learned at high school.

A lot of terms I've never heard of or understand and I'm not a thick bloke, just someone who isn't an university graduate.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to understand, 8 Nov. 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Mr Pratt has managed to make a rather dry subject into an enjoyable read. The book is littered with examples including text and pictures from comlete flights to show the theory.

I have his other books in the series and they are all of the same quality.

1.0 out of 5 stars The book of obvious, 29 Aug. 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this book hoping that it would give me some insiight into paranormal investigations and what techniques and equipment there is to use.

Unfortunately of the 52 pages just over 40 are printed and the information they contain is little more than bullet points of obvious things to do. I read the whole thing in about 15 minutes and I'm not a quick reader. EG Take a torch, Screaming and running isn't the done thing etc.

Even buying this at half the recommended price I still feel ripped off. Avoid.
