5.0 out of 5 stars Great Game, 7 Jan 2010
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
There are a couple of moments in this game which really raise the bar for story in a platform game. The eventual re-uniting of ratchet and clank and a great final sequence are genuinely moving. There are also some really great game-play moments. Ratchets hover boots keep the series from going stale and the Clank Great Clock levels are perfect. Theres loads to do which makes the game feel alive but the best thing is the believable story arc and very memorable characters.

2.0 out of 5 stars Just not that good, 13 May 2008
This review is from: Fearless [DVD] (DVD)
Some of the fighting is great. The fights against westerners are the best, other action sequences rely too heavily on clumsy computer effects.
There is a lack of story which is a shame considering the wealth of material on Huo Yuanjia. (The real life martial artist on whom the film is based)
The notion that it is propaganda is absurd, it is one sided but the west really did treat China badly at the time of the opium trade. Also the mutual respect between the Japanese and Chinese martial artists goes against a trend of frosty relations between the two countries. the film fails to live up to such an interesting premise

1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid this film!, 29 Nov 2006
Superman returns, with relationship problems!

as far as i remember superheroes in films are supposed to do lots of super things, its great if this is backed up by solid character development but this has no action in it and the characters are two dimentional. Avoid it

5.0 out of 5 stars your wrong, 5 Nov 2004
This review is from: eMOTIVe (Audio CD)
when i heard this album the first time i thought it was to put it nicely not very good, and although every other apc album has grown on me i thought this was, as mentioned in another rewiew - shallow. but after a few spins its a really good album. it doesnt follow with the intricate twists of the other albums but instead goes for a steady atmosphere. the political leaning although overt is not really as strong as it may seem. passive is definatly one of the best original apc songs there is. im not sure that the other two albums are as flawless as many would have you believe. you have to get to know it but its very good. and i cant wait for the dvd

5.0 out of 5 stars oRange, 10 Dec 2003
At the drive in connected with me in a way no other band did, the energy just made me feel alive. Mars Volta are better, tracks like rouette dares take what atdi had to a new limit but two real jems in this album are tracks 9 and 10. 9 is a slow song which is performed incredibly well live and track ten rambles all over the place, trying this and that, it must have any number of climaxes. its better than atdi...

5.0 out of 5 stars the greatest album of all time, 8 Jun 2002
This review is from: Relationship of Command (Audio CD)
everything to do with this band is exciting, their names are exciting, their hair is exciting and their music is like nothing else. relationship posseses something which no other album has, the originality of the music overall is incredible and the energy it gives from the first listen to the last will make youwant to run around like a headless chicken. the only thing better than this is ATDI live, the enegy of the music is culminated in an explosion on stage which makes you wonder how they manage to continue playing. this is the most exciting thing sinse jimi hendrix

5.0 out of 5 stars perfection is destuction, 23 Jan 2002
This review is from: Acrobatic Tenement (Audio CD)
so, his voice is rarely caught in tune, and the guitar riffs dont come close to relationship but this album is a lost gem. amongst the second rate recording and the weird computerised catalougs lies a great album for any real emo at the drive-in fan. musical genious... ebroglio
