4.0 out of 5 stars Comfy, warm but a little long in length, 18 Sept. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Rather comfortable pants, nice fit around the waist for size i ordered but they're a bit long (Bought them medium size, fit around the waist but in terms of length would suit me if i was 6'3 give or take an inch in height as opposed to 5'10) and i find myself walking on them on the back of my feet more often than not. I'm sure some people get irritated by that, i'm sure others don't mind but it's worth mentioning that tidbit of information. Otherwise they'll do the job over the colder months.

4.0 out of 5 stars My first MMORPG- Enjoying so far, 6 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It feels very much like an elder scrolls game but it definitely has it's differences. The gameplay is the same, you have your main quest and loads of side quests to choose from (or do them all), leveling up and fighting is the same however in the past i usually find myself using the 1st person view, in elder scrolls online i prefer to use third person as i feel like there's more going on around you that you need to be aware of and enemies that are far more agile than in the past.
My choice of third person view may also be influenced on how the game currently doesn't support gamepad use although you can use a emulator like xpadder if you want. I've since got used to mouse and keyboard and with so much going on around you, the mouse definitely helps in aiming at targets quickly and accurately. I desperately wanted gamepad function to be added as a patch quickly but i'm no longer fussed, I now understand why pc gamers have prefered mouse and keyboard for so long.
Graphically it looks a lot like Oblivion, I can say it's got me hooked like Skyrim and Oblivion and i'm also enjoying playing the game with friends.
The download did take the best part of two of my evenings at around 1mb/s at the same time as i imagine a lot of other ppl were downloading it online. In game lag isn't something i've experienced much of even at this early stage but that's not to say there hasn't been any at all (early evening mainly).
I'm hooked, a big fan of the elder scrolls series of games so i'm a bit biased,if you are it's worth a try at least, it still feels like an elder scrolls game. There is a running subscription, i was given the choice of three packages (30 days, a 90 day subscription and something else, possibly 6 monthly subscription pack) and i believe i could cancel whenever. New to MMORPG games but i'm also enjoying that part of the game a lot too.

5.0 out of 5 stars My mummy found it funny., 2 Oct. 2013

scrolling through my 'review your purchases' option, for this item I was given the opportunity to be the first to review it.

I thought it was funny, my mum also found it funny and I personally thought it was better than the card my sister got her.

I recommend this product to those who have a sense of humour, those whose mum has a sense of humour and people who want to one-up their siblings.

5.0 out of 5 stars personal experience has been very positive, 30 Sept. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I read the bad reviews on various places including the american amazon site which had 1 or two positives saying if you look at the specs and the reuter you have and all match up, it works excellently.

I'm renting a room in a very large house, so much so it has two reuter, both of which provided me one bar of signal. One of the reuters had a radio type or IEEE standard of 802.11g and the other was 802.11n, both reuters BT and the people at linksys said they couldn't confirm it would work with a reuter different to their own. Nonetheless I bought this Linksys RE2000 extender and the signal strength from the BT reuter with the radio type of 802.11n has gone from one bar without this extender to 5 bars and i'm traveling around the internet quicker than I ever have in this house, I can stream stuff instantly again, watch videos on youtube without lowering the video quality and still giving it a couple of minutes to load.

Admittedly the signal strength to the reuter with the radio type of 802.11g has gone from 1 bar without, to 3 bars at best (usually two out of five) with the extender. That may be improved further by moving the extender but i'm happy using the other reuter.

Set up was also really easy, just going to throw that out there.

Anyway you can read the bad reviews if you want but I'd suggest reading all the details of this product and knowing if it would work well with your reuter and computer. I have a computer and I also use the Linksys AE2500 Wireless-N Dual Band USB Adapter to connect to the reuter, also another factor to keep in mind.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Monitor- Budget or not, 10 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I had two other products i was thinking of getting: the IIYAMA E2480HS-B1 and the Acer G246HLBBID. Specification were all pretty much the same on those two monitors with this: 1920x1080 resolution, 2MS response time, around 24inch diagonal screen, LED, HD, fairly decent built-in speakers (unless you're fussy), HDMI, DVI-D and D-sub/VGA inputs, port for headphones, TN panel type (would of prefered IPS but nonetheless i can't complain), boasting of a very high dynamic contrast ratio which is something that's measured differently by companies as far as i have been educated and not to be read too much into. This did not come with a USB port and while i could be wrong, neither did the other two. This uses 42 watts per hour in all modes (other than eco) which is a bit over double over the other two but in terms of price of electricity, very little to be concerned about. The only real difference between the three were price and this was the cheapest at £124 at the time, now £115. Acer was £130, currently £110 and Iiyama was/still is £155. Doesn't come with freeview or built in tv tuner but good luck finding a monitor with the specs above with tv tuner for under £200.

I am extremely happy with this product: looks great, no dead pixels (did come with a very minor scratch on the back of the monitor if i must complain- ruined everything...), easy menus to navigate should you wish to change brightness, mode etc, the stand does shake a little bit if you're in a fight with the desk but most the time it really isn't that noticeable. Good for gaming, movies or internet use (the text isn't blurry is what i mean). I happily recommend you get this monitor for all the specs it delivers and the quality it bring for a fairly cheap price compared to some monitors out there which offer less but are higher priced.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great product once finally set up, 10 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
the set up looked extremely simple however i was forced into doing a complete power cycle of the computer (with firewall turned off and AVG turned off) and the router before the adapter would allow internet access on this computer despite the great signal strength.

However since then i've had no problems with this device using windows 7. I'm on a different level to the router with thick walls in the house and around 10metres away plus/minus 3 metres (not including different floor factor) and generally have four out of five bars regarding signal. Does what it says it does on the box.

4.0 out of 5 stars I have windows XP, 20 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
While i've played the game on xbox and absolutely loved it, for whatever reason the makers didn't allow it to be played in windows XP. someone out there did something which goes way over my head that you change aspects of the programme that runs it so you can play it on XP but yea. i couldn't figure it. If you have vista or windows 7 it'll work fine and you'll most likely enjoy the game even if it's not a stype of game you usually play. Easily top five best games of 2012.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic game, 20 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Generally i finish games fairly quickly. this game i could quite happily play again and again and still enjoy as once you've finished the campaign, it gives several more options on how to play the campaign next. While i didn't get to check out what it was like online, i've heard from friends that service too is enjoyable. By far the best tactical-strategy turn based games i've played. Even if you're not generally a fan of these style of games i'd at least suggest playing the demo first before ruling it out.
