Ex-Pro Ultra White Series Replacement Battery and Digital Camera Travel Charger for Panasonic Lumix
Ex-Pro Ultra White Series Replacement Battery and Digital Camera Travel Charger for Panasonic Lumix
Price: £15.97

5.0 out of 5 stars Great kit, 5 Nov 2014

This is a great kit.

Includes the charger unit as well as attachments for UK/US/Europe and even a car charger as well.

The spare battery works just like the 'real' battery which came with the camera and so far, haven't noticed any difference in how many photos I can take on a full charge compared to the original battery.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect fit for the TZ40, 5 Nov 2014
Lovely small camera case. The Panasonic Lumix TZ40 fits perfectly into it and feels padded enough to be secure.

Just enough room to stick a spare battery and SD card into the front/inside pocket as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, highly recommend, 5 Nov 2014

Had an old humax box for the last few years but had the common problem of the tv guide not showing all the channels or recordings not working whenever it felt like it.

Bought this box instead and I'm glad I did.

Very easy to set up (just follow the on screen questions) and within a few minutes I had all the freeview channels and a tv guide which was populated for ALL channels for the WHOLE week ahead.

Plugged in the included 10 metre ethernet cable to my router (luckily they are next to each other!) and now I can browse backwards a week in the tv guide as well and select play from the guide which then opens the programme in the relevant on-demand player.

The remote works perfectly and anything you press happens very quickly. On my old humax box everytime you paused a recording and pressed play you would have to rewind a few seconds as there was a delay so you missed some of the programme but with this box everything is instant. Even pressing the fast forward 60 sec button a few times quickly will skip the adverts and then start playing instantly again.

The search button on the remote works very well (although it didn't work at all until I plugged the box into the router) and as you type it auto-completes, looking for any programmes with the letters in as you type. You can then choose whether you want an on-demand version of the programme (to watch) or a current one which is on in the future (to record)

The HD channels look really good (even the standard ones look better than they used to) and if you try to record something in SD and it's available on an HD channel then you get a message asking whether you want to record the HD programme instead.

There's also an Android youview app which shows you the tv guide and you can record the programmes directly from the app even when you're out of the house (This has been a bit hit and miss when I tested it, I get errors a few times in a row when attempting to record something and then eventually it does appear in the recording schedule on the box, but I wouldn't rely on this too much. Not much help around either to try and work out why it doesn't always work!)

Been using this for just over a week now and so far it's very impressive. Also very small compared to other dvr's.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Android phone!, 26 Feb 2013
This is a great Android phone.

The battery life is very good as long as you play with the settings (like using auto brightness and change some of the developer options)

The screen, although not a good quality as some other more expensive phones is perfectly adequate and very nice to look at and read on.

The processor handles all my apps very well and although it has 5gb internal storage I have over 150 apps installed and still have over half the space left. You cannot 'move' apps to the external SD card but you can save all music and videos onto the external card which is fine.

If you're new to Android then it's all pretty easy to use and set up but the 'Guide Me' app gives first time users all the information they could possibly need in order to work out how to use the phone and do things.

Also, unlike other android phones I've had this phone softward is the closest to plain android which means it doesn't have all the extras like notification quick settings but I prefer this as you can get apps for most things and it's nicer to be able to add your own apps to do these things so at least you can customize them.

Personally I don't like the default home screens that come with most phones so I use 'Nova launcher' which does everything you could imagine and more.

For the notifation quick settings I use 'Notification Toggle' which is very customizable and you can add whatever shortcuts you want to the notifcation bar (including shortcuts to apps as well as people to call them quickly without having to go into your contacts)

If you have any questions regarding this phone or android in general please ask.

1.0 out of 5 stars Turns itself on all the time!, 18 Sep 2012
Although this product is great when it works I have had 2 now and I find that it turns itself on all the time as there is nothing to protect the on/off switch so when I actually need to use it I find that there's no charge left.

Am going to look for an alternative which has a protected on/off switch.
