1.0 out of 5 stars Not a good product., 19 Sept. 2014

Didn't work in my art piecefor my pieces of ceramic on wood. Used as per instructions...the wood was paint free and sanded down then dusted...even after a day the items were easy to pull off. Very disappointed. Don't buy.

Interesting foray into jazz fusion with touches of klezmer and rock. soaring sax and good drumming but also an album that grows on you with each listening.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dish rack, 8 Jan. 2013

Chose the 5 star because this was exactly what I wanted to buy for my son's (aged 32) Christmas present. He has one of those dreadful wooden work tops that get all wet and go black when you stack your washing up on it. I paired it with a Bettaware drainer that sits underneath and drains direct into the sink. The wood stays dry underneath it. It's stainless steel so won't rust and is feels reassuringly sturdy. Worth the price! Quote from son "I skipped home knowing that my washing up problem was sorted". After doing the internet research with all the measurements to match the rack/drainre and available space at side of sink, it turned out it was almost exactly the same as the one we have. (Except we have a stainless steel sink with a drainer). Architects/ designers have a lot to answer for.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, 8 Jan. 2013

I saw this in a London art gallery shop but didn't want to carry it home. It enables you to make leaf tea without the hassle of a strainer. Brilliant design. The most important thing though is that the tea tastes so different (just such a lovely clean taste) and you don't need many leaves so it costs less than tea bags. Suitable for two but can use extra hot water if you make it stronger. Doesn't dribble and can be put in a dishwasher.

5.0 out of 5 stars Apti - a slow burner, 18 Jun. 2009
This review is from: Apti (Audio CD)
Rudresh Mahanthappa's new album Apti features the trio Indo-Pak Coalition - with Mahanthappa on altosax, Rez Abassi on guitars and Dan Weiss on tablas. Always on the hunt for new jazz sounds this is a wonderful surprise and one of those slowburn albums that, although containing some actchy riffs gets you going back for more. The combination of classic jazz instruments with tablas is a refreshing change from the standard trio line-up with interweaving rhythms and and soaring instrumentals.

3.0 out of 5 stars The dreamers dreamt, 13 Aug. 2004
This review is from: The Dreamers (Audio CD)
So ... are times really any different? We are all still dreaming! The music /soundtrack is slightly different and this has the soundtrack that goes so well with the superb Berlosconi images. He's an old man enjoying the view. Historical views on dreaming... it's outside the house. Most of us live our lives at one step removed. We do not live in Najaf/Darfur/ Bangladesh.
