Stunning and inventive - welcome back Wolfgang Flur! Who knew that you were this good! Honestly, you're better off outside Kraftwerk - you can be far more experimental and theatrical!

Stunningly heartfelt, tough and tender, dramatic and accessible. One never hoped that Marc could fuse electronics with sentiment as robustly as this. It's as good as anything he has ever done because the musical sounds on the album and the lyrical themes therein actively reference everything he has ever done. A work of genius and, in a weird way, it kind of sounds like a greatest hits record, even thought all the songs are new - that is testament to the producer Chris Braide being demonstrably aware of all of Marc's recordings for he is a true fan!

Wow, what an amazing, pertinent and emotive work, cleverly written and delivered with precision. Thoroughly chilling experimental theatre at its very best. Marc surprises us yet again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous, Simply Fabulous!, 22 Nov. 2013

Well what CAN I say? New wave nu-romantic slipstream also rans Blue Zoo finally get the CD Re-Issue they deserve! What a tuneful melodic bricolage of a time capsule this is to enjoy the unearthing of! 'Cry Boy Cry' is the obvious high-light but other tracks really do make the grade. Early 80s synthpop at its very best. I have bought a hundred plus copies to tile my bathroom with! Hurrah!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Companion Volume, 25 Jun. 2013
This is an excellent companion volume to the other British Steam Train Disasters DVD, giving the perspective of another newsreel company on the Railway Disasters they covered. Of course, these releases can only ever be as comprehensive as the available footage allows, but nonetheless a fascinating insight into how these tragedies were reported to the British people at the time.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Messianic return to form!, 31 July 2012
This review is from: Pillaydium (MP3 Download)
Wow, absolutely unbelievable!! Where on earth do these songs come from? These all new songs are heartfelt brilliance by a commensurate song-stylist who has lived and has the scars to prove it! Wonderfully intense, funny and sad like a collection of torch songs sung by an absolute survivor!! I am truly touched by this album. I wish there were more songs but, I guess, less is more. One song 'We Waited For The Cicus' is a heart-wrenching reminiscence of a less than ideal childhood spent waiting in desperate expectation for the light relief of the annual visit of the circus to a dull small town. I was moved to tears. Thank you Al - this is beautiful!
