3.0 out of 5 stars An easy read, 21 Jan. 2014

An easy read although I felt that Paul could have made more from the plot. A disappointing end. Good holiday reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent. Made me laugh and cry ., 12 Jan. 2014

A great read. Full of emotional ups and downs. A bit slow in places but this only made the read more varied and didn't ruin the story. I can imagine this being made into a film. A film I'd love to see !

4.0 out of 5 stars The universe verses Alex Woods, 5 July 2013

An entertaining read. Very thought provoking , especially about a taboo subject - death. Thought the relationships between characters could have been more in depth. But overall a,worthwhile read .

2.0 out of 5 stars boring!, 3 Dec. 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This was a real "girly" DVD although they didn't film the complete life of Marie which was disappointing. The film was flamboyant and colourful although I found the story boring and unappealing.

4.0 out of 5 stars very informative, 19 Oct. 2009
very informative but a bit "wishy washy"! didn't put accross the differences between bahai and other faiths ie. they do not believe that Jesus is the son of God, which is a major difference of beliefs. The book just states that they believe Jesus "reflects" the character of God. This ,of course, is how they come to believe in Jesus. This, for a Christian, is a major difference.

A very thought provoking read and gives a full insight to how communisium was in China and how it effected relationships as families and as an individual. I fully recommend it!
