2.0 out of 5 stars Initially promising but later a let down, 30 Dec. 2011
I bought the tablet in September and it seemed a good product at a great price. However after a few weeks it started to disconnect from the internet, break from my gmail and not allow me to download apps. I reset the tablet and it seemed to be fixes, but since then the same issue has arisen again and again.

Faulty messages appear and nothing I do stops them. Little point in having a tablet for email and apps when I can't access either.

Disappointing to say the least.

Studying the Novel 5th Edition
Studying the Novel 5th Edition
by Jeremy Hawthorn
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars An invaluable book, 6 Jun. 2010
Strongly recommended for first year English students. I was studying English Literature, and many University's run a similar module - focusing on the novel and how it began.

Hawthorn provides an great beginners' guide to different novels, and is easy to reference.

The book is accessible, using every-day language explaining a lot of the difficult concepts that need to be understood by the freshers/university students or anyone hoping to read further about the details of the novel.

A level students may find this too advanced, and graduates too simple, but the undergraduate student will find this book an invaluable purchase. Indeed, during my time at uni this was the book I used the most and found the most helpful.

Doing English: A Guide for Literature Students
Doing English: A Guide for Literature Students
by Robert Eaglestone
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars A student's view, 6 Jun. 2010
I bought this book while studying English Literature at University level, it was easy to read, catered to all students (regardless of year) and was great as a reference point during essays and dissertations.
While Eaglestone's bias can sometimes hinder the view, it is worth buying overall
