1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money, 12 Jun 2007
Do not buy this item! The pictures are misleading!

What you get in this kit is:

1 x Mini Tripod: This is difficult to use and does not balance well with larger cameras. You are as well to set the camera down on its base than struggle with this.

1 x Spare battery: This is not the battery pack that recharges although they are rechargable battries, you cannot charge them through the dock as they are not sealed in the charging unit. They are only good for a compatible ordinary charger unit.

1 x Paper pack: A pack of 20 sheets of paper. Hardly great considering you can get quality prints from Snapfish and other online places from 8p a print.

1 x Camera pouch: The most useful thing in this kit, although it is totally no frills. Just a plain camera pouch without accessory pockets.

1 x Memory card pouch. This is the best item in the kit. A small fold over pouch similar to a velcro rip wallet. It holds several cards but the are not very secure against dirt and dust.

That is all you get for your money so don't bother. It really is not worth it. There are 2 pictures on Amazon but the other picture shows a bottle and some other accessories. These do NOT come with this particular kit. Be warned!

Darren x

5.0 out of 5 stars Not to see this would be a crime!, 23 Feb 2007
WOW! This has to be in the running for the funniest film of the year which is a great achievement considering this is only February!

I must admit to you that I was not in any way interested in seeing this film as I was not overly impressed with Shaun of the dead. That could have been a lot better but it did have it's moments.

Hot Fuzz, however, wow!

How to describe this film? How to compare it? I would probably just say it is like a comedy version of the "Wicker Man" meets Will Hays "Ask A Policeman" which is a classic timeless comedy.

Basically our dynamic duo, team up to take back control and restore some normality in the sleepy village that has been overtaken by murderous pensioners.

You will laugh your way through this film but be warned it is a lot better if you add that magical movie ingredient - friends!

British at it's best!

4.0 out of 5 stars I fought the law..., 18 July 2005
This book has been slated by the critics for being too long. Why? I will never know. I thoroughly enjoyed every page and if read properly we find out a few good things about how the direction of the next book. As described by Sirius and Lupin in the fire... when voldermort was at his hieght of power people were in a state of sheer panic and this time the Ministry has chosen to ignore the warnings from Harry and Dumbledore. This book shows that Voldermort is really back in the end and so we know the next book will be darker than ever. More darker plots and the actions to be taken by Harry will be set for the final instalment.
Thanks Jo for a magical series of books.

5.0 out of 5 stars 4400 reasons to buy this!, 21 Jan 2005
Don't worry I am not about to actually list 4400 reasons here. I just want to say that this is a refreshing take on alien abduction/ sci fi drama. This is like the flipside to the "X Files" or "Taken" where they concentrate on abductees coming back to earth. OK 4400 return at once but they just focus on a handful and take it from there. Why have they returned, where have they been etc, the usual questions asked and probed in this brilliant series. Only 1 complaint! Only 5 episodes in season 1 and ends in a cliffhanger.

1.0 out of 5 stars Movies don't get much worse than this, 13 Nov 2004
Never have we been asked to endure such pain and terror from a film since the release of the Spice Girls film of a bus driving through London.
Caine delivers his lines as if bored and waiting for paint to dry.
The basics of the film is about how bank employee (Keaton) is made fall guy for a Russian Mafia hit and how he gets strangely and laboriously entangled with struggling actor and gambler Caine. With a partly seen before plot this film should never have made it onto the video store shelf let alone the high street shelf.
With such a strong cast and a director of this calibre I expected and deserved more for my viewing.
I would immediately apologise for this review as it is the first I have ever written and I only point out the bad in this film but I do so with good reason. This film really does resemble a collage of previous and far superior movies with the mafia/ hit man theme. Ideas and story lines seem to be borrowed and regurgitated and not too well either.
If I had to guess budget of this film I would say it resembled one weeks government benefit. Ok there may well have been good parts to this film but I cannot think of one apart from the end credits.

Save yourself some money and give this film a wide berth.
