Golden era feel from a new artist. This would have been a hit in the 90's. Not. Gimmicks just dope bars and beat. Meth sounds better than ever too

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 20 Feb. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
As a owner of The X-Mini 2nd gen speaker i wanted to buy a second one as my partner steals mine to use with her laptop everyday, I saw the UNO and thought id give it a try as i was very happy with their other products.

Although it looks similar to the 2nd Gen speaker, the Uno is slightly heavier due to the added weight which stops the unit from bouncing at high volumes which in turn causes less vibration

The Uno has a much more detailed sound, i notice less distortion in the bass frequencies giving a more accurate sound but i also notice the detail right up the audio spectrum to the highs which are also more detailed and less clouded.

its more than double the price of the older units but still a steal at £40.

David Icke is brilliant. in this book he shares with us his research on who really does run our world and how they go about it.

If you think our world is fine and life is great then this may not be for you, but if you have questions about the way the planet is run and why things are the way they are then this book could be for you

If your Neo looking for the truth then take the red pill (buy this book)!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Read, 4 April 2007
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a great read for someone who has heard little pieces about David, and wants to know a little more about and his beliefs or "truths". this lets you read words straight from his mouth regarding the powers that be that run this earth.

the interviewer asks good questions leaving the reading wanting to know more. David also explains his life and what led him to his "freedom" or waking up!

Most importantly, David speaks in a way that a 10 year old could understand, unlike other books where reading requires a high knowldge of literature

Recommended!!!!

if you into experimental music with a tad of pop then you must check this out

as a musician it was very inspiring

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 29 Mar. 2006
This review is from: Shooters [DVD] (DVD)
One of the realists films. Shows a snap shot of underworld life in liverpool and the gun culture amoung gangsters and petty thugs.
The cast are non actors but everyday underworld members who bring a touch of realism to their roles.
i thought the ending wasn't great and 1 or two of the deleated scenes could have been added so the audience could get a better understanding of Johns character, but i managed to follow it fine and have an understanding into the world the director was portraying.
i also feel that it could have been more violent and crude to really reflect real life.
with a small budget and no trained actors, i think this is a classic film. the acting is great and the characters are excellent
if you love gangster, real life flicks or wanna hear some great dialogue you must see this

WOW!
im not sure if this is a real documenart of if its thought up, but in my opinion its brilliant. had me on the edge of myseat all the way till the very end.....
Ex-US soilder decideds to go to Afghanistan post 9-11 to look fo Bin Laden and the Al Queda network he has taken a small time cameraman with him.
he doen't know any and aranges to meet an Afghan-American translator to help show him about
We get to see what happend when they go to get weapons and meet bounty hunters and rebels.....
As i said im not sure if its true or not, but i feel this could be the future of war dramas to come, espcially with the popularity of reality tv
a must watch! for anyone!

5.0 out of 5 stars no movie can match real life, 17 Mar. 2006
This review is from: Bus 174 [DVD] (DVD)
a very important insight ito brazil's social system based on the unfortunate events of a hostage situation.
on the surface it appears to be a nutter taking a bus hostage but once the journalist digs deeper we found out about the troubled lives of thousands of orphans kids who grow up on the streets, stealing to eat 1 meal a day, many addicted to glue and cocaine before they reach 13. And the way black people are treated in poorer/underdevelopd brazil
the hostage footage is very up close and personal.....a must see for anyone!
once we find out about his past it feels as if he then becomes the victim

4.0 out of 5 stars A MUST SEE!!, 16 Mar. 2006
This review is from: Irreversible [DVD] [2003] (DVD)
One of the most interesting films ive seen.
its a film shot in reverse!
Vincent Cassel (La Haine Oceans 12) is excellent as is Monica Belucci (the Matrix reloaded).
With 1 of the most graffic and honest violence/rape scenes ever put onto a feature legnth. at times the rape was hard to watch, but changed my opinions of rape victims and attackers in a major way!
for that reason i say its socially important to atleats see this film once!
A must see
Arthouse work at its best!
