I have had this a few months and aside from it been a little on the noisy side i can not fault it. I use it most weeks, it makes the most amazing meringue. Overall I am very pleased with it.

Everyone should read this. You will need tissues and lots of them. How a mother can put her children through this is beyond me. She knew what was going on and played her part in it. Whilst i realise that in them days it was a case of you made you bed and stayed in it the mother had her chance to divorce this man but chose him over the welfare of her children. Leaving him to go on abusing. That for me is unforgivable. Thank heavens things have moved on and children are listened to now. To those people who say it did not happen as much back then it did you only have to look at the true stories of adults bought up in that era, it was just brushed under the carpet, children were ignored if they dared to say anything. We are thankfully more informed now and a child would be listened to.

An enjoyable read. Laughter and tears. a good account of what life was like for a lot of families. Neighbours were more than that and everyone pulled together through the hard times. Not sure you would get that now.
