Laura Jane Grace must be one of the most brave women in rock to come out as transgender. And this is the perfect album to help you understand.

Love this band despite being very new to them. They have melody, rawness and technical elements. Not my usual style to listen to but hooked on them now.

Very useful when using it. However, I am concerned about putting it down or leaving it in my bag with the metal elements rubbing against the camera body.

Not sure what I expected following The King Blues split, but I had reasonably high hopes after listening to Manifesto (x2). Happy to report that it was worth the wait, albeit with some not so strong moments.

Dressed To Kill is a very good book that engages you due to its fluid text. Having said that, as someone who enjoyed the technical explanations of Ed Macy, I felt something was missing. Still a great and worthy ready. Full respect to Charlie and all others in her field. Think my brain would explode.

3.0 out of 5 stars Hit and miss, 26 Aug 2013

As an avid and long standing A7X fan, I was looking forward to this album, albeit disappointed with the single of the same name. Unfortunately there are few stand out songs with this change of direction, and those that do sound like they have been borrowed from Metallica or Pantera. Due to the new style, the drums feel more basic (no one will live up to The Rev) and Synyster is forced to tone down the solos (the biggest shame here).

Despite that I'll still be watching them on tour in December. Not a bad album, just not great.

As a fan of Monkey Business and Monkey Life and having visited Monkey World, reading this book was a must. The writing style is fluid and engaging and the book a treat to read, albeit an emotional ride. I literally only put the book down twice before finishing it.
