Hard drive is good. When working 3.0 usb to 3.0 usb, speed is noticeably faster. Very compact. Only 2 wires.

Although it did on me after few weeks when I was transferring files from an old laptop to my new rig, but amazing people at amazon sent me a new one within few days.

The New Designer's Handbook
The New Designer's Handbook

Book is a must have if you are a graphic designer. I don't go a day by without using it. Also a grate learning source for printing, the got-to-know information for graphic designers these days.

But, I don't know if it's just my copy or not but I have 2 of the same sections. Meaning I have 126-152 pages twice. Not exactly a bad thing, just making you aware.

The headphones are good. Sound is excellent. Very comfy. Well worth the money. Although be careful - mic is not noise canceling.

Keyboard isn't bad for what you are paying.

Review in one sentence - ok for browsing, bad for gaming.

There are few annoyances. CTRL isn't in the corner like usually, Function key is there, while it's fine for browsing and such, but if you are playing games with it, it will annoy you. Touchpad is little awkward. It doesn't act like usual touchpad with tapping, sometimes you will select things you don't want, sometimes you will pick things up you don't want (eg folder). Also touchpad's button positioning is terrible. Roughly 75% of all time I have to look down to see where they are.

Improvements to be made
- touchpad
- reposition of the buttons for the touchpad
- put on/off button on the face of the keyboard
- move function key to the right, and leave CTRL key where it belongs.
